Why does a pair of fuzzy dice look so perfect dangling from the rear-view mirror of a classic car?Did You Know: The very first fuzzy dice were hung above the instruments of World War II fighter jets. Those days it was particularly dangerous for our flyboys, as allied forces were losing over 150 planes a day. Before a mission, a pilot would arrange the pips to read 4 and 3—lucky number 7. And it must’ve worked, because the tradition survived the trip back to the states, where fuzzy dice were hung over a different instrument: automobiles. In the 1950s, fuzzy dice became the very first item specifically manufactured to be hung from a car’s rearview mirror, and the popularity of this trend exploded in the 70s and 80s. The rest is history! These six-sided dice are soft and furry, 3" square, and shaped by squishy but resilient foam. Available in five showy colors with contrasting pips, each pair is connected by an 11.5" nylon string. The perfect accessory for car enthusiasts everywhere, these dice look great dangling from the rearview mirror, and will add a touch of flair to garages, game rooms, and the like.

Pink fuzzy dice
Love these fuzzy dice! The pink color is a nice soft pink, but still stands out enough to be noticed when hanging around the mirror.

NOT HAIRY
I grew up with fuzzy dice. They had 1/2 to 1" hair on them. These are not them. These look like a cheap washcloth.Very sad that "hairy" dice don't seem to be obtainable any more.

Fuzzy dice
I bought this item to use in a game to decide how to exchange names with my friends. They served my purpose and I will use them again for similar games in the future.

Not that great
Item was shipped and arrived fast packing was in good shape but the dice themselves not so good they had stuffing sticking out through the stitching the dots are about worn off and why would you use white string for the dice to hang from? I know their cheap and not really a big deal but ended up tossing in trash and ordered a different pair.

Embarassing
It’s nerve-wracking to pick a witty gift instead of a real one to stay in a budget, but it’s straight embarassing when the witty gift comes broken. The string was detached from the other cube. I’ll see how the refund process goes
