Let There Be Light! LOTS OF LIGHT!
Received in good order, shipping as described in sale, packed appropriately. Item was undamaged upon opening outer retail packaging. Retail package included 3 AAA batteries which were easy to install. All functions of the light checked out as described. This light is VERY BRIGHT on full power - could easily illuminate a campsite if suspended high enough above ground - such as in a tree or on a line between two trees. I suspect that the lowest setting will be just fine for use inside my tent - plenty bright enough to read by, find gear, chat with camp mate(s), etc. All functions cycle easily - controls are straight-forward, and included instructions are easy to understand (although printed in very tiny font). I don't know how anyone could miss seeing the strobe function from the air or ground. The S-O-S signal function is equally bright and slow enough to easily be recognized as S-O-S and not a slow strobe. The unit is small for as much light as it puts out, and not very thick through the middle. I look forward to not banging my head on it like I have a few times with a larger tent ceiling light. I like it so far. Wife wants me to order a few more to use around the house for when the power goes out. Will update this review if anything untoward happens. I suspect it will be a keeper.

High quality durable product.
This thing is super small and SUPER bright! Very nice well made and durable little light. I really do like that it features "warm" LEDs (about 4000k) as it gives a more inviting light vs those bluish LEDs in cheaper lights. The dimmer feature is quite nice too, Bright / Med / Dim and then flashing.. which I will never use... but in either case it has it. I would most certainly prefer the battery opperated model like this one as I will typically put NiMH rechargeables in it and then bring some extra alkalines if need be. Seriously don't look at anything else in this price range.. or even less than this.. it's perfect. You will love it.

Little But Mighty!
This is the second one we've bought! We love this little but mighty light! The batteries it come with aren't the best. They didn'tlast very long, but we put name brand ones in, and in the 6 years we've had the first one, we've changed the batteries twice. Granted we only use it for camping and summertime activities but it's a great light! It has different light settings... there are 5 or 6 settings. My car broke down one night, and used it as a flasher with my hazzard lights so cars would really see me!I love this light!

Surprisingly effective
Hung this from an overhead light fixture during an extended power outage. Worked surprisingly well (for how small it is) to add light to the whole room, lasted at least 8 hours. I liked having regular batteries to be able to change out since there was no way to recharge. Used it in a large tent previously and it lit up the whole tent....almost enough to read by. In a small tent it likely would be sufficient. Since it is magnetized, I store it stuck to the side of my fridge so it is easy to find. I gave one to every family member last xmas for emergency preparedness

Small light. Shines bright.
I was going to a festival where we would be camping out for three nights. I needed a bright light that I could hang up, and that wasn't going to eat batteries or break getting tossed around. The Supernova Halo 150 fit the bill, and even exceeded my expectations in times after my trip by providing light where and when it was needed without much fuss.Pros: The light is super bright for how compact it is, its my go to light for when the power goes out since it provides a wide area of light, and will easily light up a tent, or blind everyone in it when you turn it to strobe on accident (whoops!). Having this much light in such a compact and versatile package is incredibly helpful, it can be hung, setup at an angle with its hook as a kickstand, or even conveniently attached to any metal surface. Its small enough to clip to a pack, and the hook folds up nicely to provide a slim profile for packing. The product can stand up to more than a few drops and feels very durable despite being made of dense plastic.Cons: It can be a little pricey, but currently at 15$ it is well worth it.Conclusion: This light has come in handy in more situations than I can count, and due to its durability and design its worth the price at about the 20$ mark. I would recommend this to anyone needing a compact light for camping or for emergency situations.

excellent tent light
used it on a 5 hight backpack. good choice in light levels. but if you are really packing light, simply use a small flashlight - assuming you don't spend anytime in your tent except for sleeping. I will use this more in the fall and spring when the nights are longer and I am in the tent more.

Bright, portable area light for camping or tasks. I love it!
My absolute favorite camping lamp. It is light, portable, solidly built and it can be bright! It has multiple brightness settings, along with strobe. The hook can be attached inside the top of your tent and it provides ample light to perform whatever tasks you like until you are ready to go to sleep. This is my 2nd one. My first died after several years and multiple camping trips. Well worth the price!

Cheap quality, get a moji instead
Not brighter than other 100 rated button lights. Plastic feels cheap and overall housing is cheap and would break from a few foot fall. No memory so you need to cycle through all. Just buy a moji or something else, this is a bad alternative
