Awesome Core Class Hot Rod Figure!
As a long-time Transformers fan, I was thrilled with this Core Class Hot Rod figure from the Kingdom line. The robot mode perfectly captures Hot Rod's classic animation look, with vibrant colors and detailed sculpting. Transformation to sports car mode is simple but satisfying. While smaller than some figures, the compact size makes Hot Rod great for playing and displaying. Articulation is a bit limited, but that's expected for a Core Class toy. Die-cast parts and plastic quality feel premium. An absolute must for Transformers collectors or kids introduced to Hot Rod through the War for Cybertron series. Excellent value for an iconic G1 character!

Fun little figure
A good looking little guy for my work desk. There is a surprising amount of engineering put into such a small figure.

Cool but complex. Be ready to hunt for the sword and fin.
My son went on a Transformers kick and this was as stocking stuffer (it is small) that won his heart...not so much mine. It has great detail and color, kid and adult appeal but the small parts are always getting lost. When I wasn't looking for the sword or the fin it fits into, I was looking for an arm or leg (the ball joints are too much fun for a little boy not to remove them). The age rating of 8+ is pretty close to accurate unless you have a STEM brained child of 5-6 years old who observes an adult navigate transforming it several times. I'll be honest, it took me a few tries to figure out how to get all the pieces flush when putting it in car mode. After a year the end of the sword broke but that's hard to avoid when it is so small. My son still loves it-I think it's OK.

Adorable little boy
Core class rodimus is small adorable perfect addition to my collection but because he is core class which is small, he is small enough to completely fit in my hand, so i don't recommend giving him to young children. I have mine standing next to 1980s rodimus for display.

My son loves this
I got this for my son for an early birthday present/surprise for having a great week at school, and he LOVES it. I loved the smile it put on his face. Just to see that smile made it worth the money. It’s great quality as well!

Transformers Kingdom core class Hot Rod
Hot Rod is not the best figure, having hollow parts, including the inside of his head. This figure is an easy pass for any Transformers collector wanting a top quality 3.5" tall robot action figure.Kingdom Hot Rod is only recommended for completists and die hard fans of the character.Side note, Hot Rod is the last figure not only of the Kingdom line, but also last figure of the entire War for Cybertron Trilogy.

It’s tiny and not worth the price tag
I didn’t read the size of this. It’s 3.5” tall so for 14.00 I feel it’s not a good buy. I returned it and bought another one.

Little dude
Son approved. Small size and made well certain tiny parts not too bad. The price is the same everywhere no complaints.
