not for short action 308s
Was under the impression that 'standard' meant 'short action'. Instead, this fitment was for a long action rifle. Had to return and re-order correct mount. This will not fit Weatherby's Vanguard Sporter 2 in .308 caliber. Instead, use Game Reaper Howa 1500 short action mount. Otherwise, I cannot comment further except to say this appears to be a fine product and I look forward to the arrival of the correct mount.

only for standard caliber Mark V rifles, not for magnum rifles
This is only for a standard caliber rifle, not the 9 lug magnum, if you have a rifle in a Weatherby caliber or a non Weatherby magnum caliber this mount will not fit, be aware.
