Finally one compact enough to fit in a pack of smokes! Nice sliding action (although remotely possible to be accidentally activated). I prefer the Tesla coil (arc) lighters better since you can't fit a cigar or paper down inside these 'mini car lighter' style heat coils, since the recess down to the coil is cigarette sized. Also, this style makes physical contact with the cig which brings back tapping out auto lighters with debris stuck to the coil (also candle wick wax could foul). Just love the compactness and feel of this one enough to ignore the shortcomings.

 I purchased the purple lighter. It is very sleek and sexy, AND windproof! This is the lighter you use at parties or when you're going out....not at home or in the car. It's too pretty for that! I do, however, feel as though the lighter would have been better if the coil had been coiled more tightly. Because of the small spaces between the coil rings, tobacco pieces can get stuck in there. THIS definitely agitates my anal-retentive personality. This reason alone accounted for a 3.5 star rating, but I had an issue and the seller responded quickly to resolve the issue, so I rounded up instead of down and gave it a 4 star rating.

This is the perfect lighter for the beach! Really, it's perfect for everyday use but especially for any time there is high wind.PROS- very well made- smooth gliding. Other lighters I have had like this were rough or resistant when sliding to expose the coil.- so many pretty color options, but the purple is my favorite- very feminine- quick lighting time.- the coil gets super hot as soon as it is expose- stays charged for many usesCONS- it would be nice to have a little gripper pad for easier handle- I would love to have a little case to keep it in smaller than the box it comes inThis is my second time purchasing this lighter and plan on ordering more in the future as gifts!

Very cute, well working and convenient lighter, I received and returned today. Unfortunately it arrived in an indented box, the lighter was scratched, as well as the accompanying USB charger, which did not appear to look new.

Beautiful. Ordered it for a friend as a present. It's extremely tiny probably as thick or as wide as the width of two cigarettes right next to each other. Beautiful to gift. However the red was a little bit more orange than actual scarlet red.

I have a tesla coil operated lighter that was purchased on Amazon. It functions flawlessly and I keep it in my vehicle.I wanted an additional lighter that did not run on butane and the OBON unit fit the intended needed. The unit arrived fully charged and ready to go right out of the box. The unit is heavy but slender. The coils light up within seconds of sliding the gate (bar) down.The unit is easy to hold in my hands and the advantage of this over the tesla unit is that even with gloved hands, it is easy to operate the slide bar.

On first charge this lighter worked for about 1 pack of cigs. On each additional charge, the lighter seems to run out of juice faster. Plus the Cig debri gets on the coil so you have to constantly tap the stuff out of it, which lights up the coil again. I like the size, but the battery needs to be improved to last longer. On full charge, this lighter will work well on about 10 cigs, then it takes a while for it to heat up hi enough to light the rest of the cigs before the battery dies. So charge every night for the days use. Not a bad purchase, but I can either take it or leave this lighter.

This is absolutely beautiful lighter. The lighting coil could be a tad bit bigger, which brings it down to 4 stars. It's sleek, smooth sliding when lighting up, & small enought 2 stick in your pack. Why only 1 star? The coil burned out on the 3rd day!! Tried recharging & letting it rest, etc, then took a closer look at it. The coil literally burned out! It's not making a complete loop now, so there's no way this lighter will ever work again!! Maybe one with an arc instead of coil will work better **fingers crossed because it is so beautiful!**
