So cute. The pins are very long which I love.

Item is exactly as shown and cute as can be. The only thing keeping me from giving it five stars is that there is no weight to the hedgehog at all. It's basically just a plush toy. It would be perfect if it just had a little sand or something in the belly to anchor it and keep it upright. It's gone tumbling off of my workspace more than once because of it.Also, while the butterfly pins this comes with are easy to see, normal needles can get lost in the fuzz of the "quills" due to colors blending, so I usually have to stick them in the face... which seems kind of masochistic but I can't find them again otherwise! 😅

I just love this little hedgehog pin cushion. He is actually quite soft to the touch. I thought he would be a bit scratchy since he is supposed to be a pincushion, but he isn't. He also is so whimsical to look at that I am almost cringing when I stick a pin in him. I don't want to hurt the little guy, LOLHe works just as he is supposed to and the pins with tops on them are just right to use with him.It would be a very cute gift to give to the seamstress in your life or a young girl just starting to be interested in sewing.
