ASB 39240 Vantage Tub Wall, White, 5-Piece

This tub surround went up a lot more easily than expected and adjusted to fit the space beautifully. My brother put it in for me (with a little help from me), and he used plenty of adhesive, so it should stay in place for ages. He used a clear silicone on all the seams to prevent leaks, just in case. It arrived in mint condition, which I honestly didn't expect. I assumed that something that large and plastic in a big cardboard box would probably end up getting cracked somehow, but it didn't. In my opinion, essentially ALL tub surrounds are way overpriced for what is basically just formed sheets of plastic (and probably not exactly super expensive to produce). But since this one worked out so perfectly and is of quite good quality, I'm not complaining at all. I highly recommend it!

It arrived damaged:hole in the box and 2 cracks in the shower walls. Made very cheaply and very thin. This company doesn't offer free returns, so it would've cost us around $400+ to ship it back to get our refund!!!! They said that Amazon would reimburse us, but we don't have $400+ to ship it back and take the chance. After a number of calls, stress and anxiety, it was settled by Amazon.

Looks amazing fast and easy install

This was the cheapest tub surround that was designed to adhere to the wall that met our requirements. To install it I purchased a 3 gallon tub of frp adhesive and trowelled it like I was laying tile. I placed the flat sheets on the wall and used a rolling pin to get rid of any air pockets. The corner pieces I filled the shelves with expanding foam, cut off the excess, then trowelled the same frp adhesive. Since I couldn't use the roller I just pounded from the center out doing the best I could to get rid of the airpockets.We've had it in place a month so far and are very pleased. We'll see how long before it yellows and gets brittle.

I bought this to fit in a remodeled mobile home. The tub in this mobile home was smaller than standard size and the price on one from a box store was, well let me say, MUCH more than a normal sized surround.I was hesitant to buy this sight unseen, but it was great for my needs.It was a little thin, but we put it against drywall and it is fine.If i ever needed another one I would buy this again in a minute.

Material too light weight

Good for a small project.. took two different adhesives to find what worked best. Had sometrouble doing by myself could use another hand. Learning experience but was still happy how it turned out.

Easy to install, clean, and keep clean. Looks best with RGB lights and a shower tower. The white semi gloss coating helps reflect whatever light you make the bathroom.
