Spigen Neo Hybrid Designed for Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus Case (2017) - Gunmetal

The case looks great! I bought this same case, Spigen Neo Hybrid, for the: S7 edge, Note 7 (RIP... I loved you *tears), and now the S8+. Just like the others, this case is well-constructed, the buttons have a great feel and the back adds a tacky (not too sticky) grip which is confidence inspiring. Also, the previous cases had no issues with wireless charging with the case on. I never had any issues with the previous models and I'm assuming it will be the same with this. If you're looking for a bulky case that adds tank-like protection like an otter box, then keep looking. However, if you want a case that offers some protection from scratching and minor drops while keeping with the original design language, then don't hesitate... buy it, put it on your sexy S8+ and enjoy.When pre-ordering phones, I like to order the case ahead of time as to avoid going raw and unprotected from day one! Going in unprotected almost always ends in financial problems and headaches! Now, all that I need is the phone but I'm sure that the phone and this case are going to go together like peanut butter and jelly.EDIT AFTER A DAY OF USE ON THE PHONE:Unlike the previous Spigen Hybrid cases, the pattern on the back of this case does not provide additional grip. The pattern feels flatter and has less areas to add friction. Nevertheless, it still is better than the phone without a case. Some people have reviewed the case and complained about bulk. This case is not bulky but it isn't a barely there case either; it's somewhere right in between. Personally, I think it is perfect for the S8+ because the case gives me a target for the fingerprint scanner. With this case on, my finger has a tactile place to find the fingerprint scanner. Without the case, finding the fingerprint reader with consistency was difficult.Even with the not as grippy back, I feel this case is a win. For the price, it does the job while looking sleek. Again, if you're looking for a case that is BARELY there, then keep looking. Also, if you want a case that will protect your phone from a ten foot fall, then keep looking!

Update: 4/28 Just dropped my phone as i was about to take a pics so it took a dive from about 6 feet and hit one corner, flipped and hit another corner and the phone is fine! Dodged a bullet there. As expected the case looks sleek and fits like a glove. Much easier to put on and take off, I guess this is due to the new design of the phone. I rarely drop my phone and still haven't yet so i can't say how much protection it will offer but having the neo hybrids before they did just fine in protecting my Note 3 and 4. Just arrived today and will be waiting for my phone on the 21st. This is my 3rd Spigen Neo Hybrid case and I have loved all 3. It is very slim and if they are like the other 2 I had for my Note 3 & 4, this will look great as well as offer great protection. The herringbone pattern on the back is there but you can't feel the pattern itself, as the back is smooth. The buttons aren't as premium looking as they were for the Note 4 but still looks great. I am very happy with this case and can't wait to put this one my S 8+. I will update once the phone arrives but I can't imagine any issues being that Spigen is great quality.

The case fits my phone well. All the cutouts are where they should be. The textured inner layer provides reasonable grip without feeling tacky in the hand and seems quite resilient. If I have a critique of this case, it would be that the outer layer doesn't lay completely flat against the inner layer in a couple of places. I find the slightest wiggle in it where it goes across the lower back of the phone. It is as though the span there is slightly bowed. I can't say it's enough to bother me, and it didn't cause me to take away any stars, but I know it's there. Overall, it's a solid product and feels as though it would well protect my phone in a drop.One word for folks who use magnetic dash mounts with their smartphones and like to put the metal plate for the mount on the INSIDE of their cases: This case is just thick enough to weaken the magnetic hold of your average mount. This method of attaching the plate to the case still work (the phone isn't going to fall off the mount for lack of attraction) but because of the nature of the "herringbone" inner layer on this thing, the phone can rotate quite easily so make sure you put the plate for the mount in the center of the case to avoid any top-heavy shenanigans.

FANTASTIC STRONG CASE!! I got one for my Samsung Galaxy 8+ 10 months ago and it is very easy to get on and off and fits perfectly. It is not bulky and my phone fits nicely in my front pocket when I'm wearing jeans. It has a nice indentation on the back protecting the camera lens from getting scratched. It is very strong and virtually unbreakable. I made a huge mistake last week and placed my phone on the top of my car when getting gas and forgot about it, drove off and my phone slipped off, fell in the street and was run over by a car. When I realized five minutes later what happened and went back to the gas station, my phone was destroyed, screen shattered, but the phone case was completely unharmed and not even scratched!! I took the case off and it is now on my new phone! Excellent case and please don't ever put your phone on the roof of your car!

Que decir de una funda spigen que no se sepa ya... Bonito, resistente y lo que es mas importante, hace su función. protege muy bien el móvil. Se me ha caído mil veces y el móvil esta perfecto. La única pega que podría encontrar alguien es que se puede ver un poco tosco. A mi me encanta

This is not my first Spigen case, far from it. It is actually my 5th as I recall. All of them have been exactly as advertised and probably the best cases on the market. Sure you can find stronger and more protective cases, but not without the weight and bulk penalties (Otter and others).This case installed in about 10 seconds and fits perfectly. I have a screen protector on and it did not interfere with its use (Best Buy screen protector came with my phone). I will say that this case is a bit slippery, but not to the extent that it is going to make me drop this phone. It is easier to hold and offers better protection than the Samsung case I had on it previously. That case left too much of the edge exposed and when I dropped it camping... the screen cracked right between the screen protector and the case (FML).I would recommend this case to anyone looking for a stylish and attractive case for their phone that offers increased protection and durability. Would buy again.

Bought for a Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.As you'd expect from Spigen, another quality case which doesn't forget "style" whilst still offering a fair degree of protection.I have owned other cases including Spigen in the past and my last case for a Galaxy S5 proved itself to be a very good case indeed. Lost could of how many times i dropped the S5 but not a mark on it after nearly 3 years. Despite some heavy drops from around waist/chest height onto concrete.The only issue i have with this case is that i haven't dropped my phone yet and obviously don't want to but until it's happened you can never quite trust a case.My view on this case is that the protruding lip at the top and bottom of the screen should be enough at 2mm but that assumes if your phone lands face down it's going to hit a perfectly flat surface. OK you have to draw the line somewhere but personally they could have gotten away with maybe 3mm.The case doesn't overlap the screen at the edges letting you view the full screen as it was meant to be viewed. The cutouts for speaker, charging etc are perfect and the buttons are great too. I would have preferred a shiny metal effect to the buttons but that's not a big issue as they work well.I suppose my biggest gripe with the case would be that a removable cutout for the insertion/removal of micro SD cards would be nice but i can see why this has not been done. If you change cards a lot then it might be a bit of a pain but that's probably very few people.Given the cost of a Galaxy S8 Plus I would gladly welcome a slight design modification to this case. Maybe it's me but there are times you need differing degrees of protection for a phone. On the seat of your car or on your desk doesn't need much protection at all but walking down the street or in your handbag (for the ladies) you need that bit more protection and most of us would probably welcome a case that flexed to accommodate what you were doing at the time.What i think Spigen could do is offer a two part case and allow them to slide into each other. Part one is pretty much this case, as it is but with the addition of two grooves down the side. Part two is a thin cover for the face of the phone which slides over the back of the phone but when required could be either removed or slid over the front screen. Those times when your phone is most at risk would benefit from a case that adapts and is perhaps a fraction more bulky but perhaps a lot more protective? Just a thought???Don't let that detract you from buying this case, it's VERY good value for money and if the past is anything to go by will lead to me breathing a heavy sigh of relief sometime soon!

J'ai acheter cette coque et j'en suis tres satisfait. Le telephone rentre tres facilement mais au contraire ne s'enleve tres facilement.Les plus :Design satisfaisantProtege tres bien l'ecran incurvéLa bordure au niveau du haut et du bas et legerement en hauteur par rapport a l'ecran donc si vous faite tomber l'ecran sur une surface plane, l'ecran ne touche pas le sol.Les moins :Vu que la coque prend toute la surface du telephone j'ai pas reussit a mettre une protection d'ecran en verre trempé.A acheter les yeix fermés.
