This is a perfect replacement for my original chin strap that had worn out.

I needed something to hold my bucket hat down in the wind. These are nice straps in a couple of neutrals per package. There's even the little doohickey to tighten the strap under your chin. Only trouble is the little clasp is very hard to open. I thought I'd sew a couple of tabs inside my hat and clip this strap on when I needed it. But that wasn't going to work. In the end, I fastened the strap, through the clips, with medium-sized safety pins. No one's going to see them, and the idea works. They are not stretchy.

Needed these as replacement for severalHat & they are just what I wanted: secure & comfy

The plastic clasp that holds onto the hat bends and breaks easily.

Cheap. They do the job at a low price, but the plastic is weak and brittle.

This is exactly what I wanted for my hat. I lost the straps and was excited to find replacements.

I like the woven straps; they are pretty comfy. The adjusting buttons work very well; they slide up and down very easily. I’m not that keen on the plastic clips that attach to whatever item you choose to add straps to. They are a little bulky for clips. But once you get them on (so far, so good), they’ve stayed on.
