Does the pink light up through the candle itself too or just the flame on top ?

Just the flame on top lights. There is a remote that you can use to choose whether to show a flicker or solid “flame”. I have been very happy with the candles.

Does the timer work so that they turn on, on their own or do you still have to manually turn them on and they just turn off on their own?

Once you set them, they turn in and off. No need to worry

Is there any recourse if one of the candles barely has any light after only 3 days? Sent in a video and haven't heard anything from the seller

I have the same problem with one of the candles and have written to the seller at both email addresses they provided on a note included with the candles. So far no replies which has been very disappointing.
