The length is this bulb is just the same as that of a regular 60W bulb. It fits my outdoor lamp.It is bright. The brightness is probably little less than what I would expect from 300 Watt equivalent bulb, but considering the size to brightness ratio, this bulb gets 5+ rating.All other bulbs with equivalent lumens and wattage, is twice the size and so those didn't fit into a regular sized lamp.Fantastic product.

These bulbs are bight. Really bright. These are much brighter than the 800 lumen bulb it replaced.They do get hot. I am not sure where someone gets the idea they can be used in an enclosure because they absolutely cannot. They can still be touched with the hand but they are hot.Update: one bulb lasted 11 months in an outdoor, open bottom fixture. Parts of it were melted. This thing gets hot, hot, hot. So bright though.I like the compact size and that they produce more or less 360 degrees of light. Color temp is more towards daylight than soft white but it is not the “screaming horror movie” white light that full daylight bulbs produce.

I purchased 8 of these "corn style" LEDs to replace some 80 watt HID bulbs (by passed ballasts). They worked well for a few months and then LED groups in the bulbs began failing. After 10 months all bulbs had completely failed except for 1 which failed shortly after. I calculate that most of these failed at less than 3000 hrs, so a far cry from the manufacturers claims!I believe this is a poor design with little heat sink for the high output they provide. Many show burned areas and broken covering plastic. There are several other companies selling what looks like the same bulbs on Amazon and if you dig into the reviews, most say they do not last a year. This mirrors what I observed. There are other designs which will fit the E26 style base but I had only 5" of height in these fixtures (plenty room in diameter) so limited with what would fit in this application.In the mean time I replaced with "conventional" style 20 watt LED bulbs and reviews show these should last a long time, but do not put out the same amount of light.

Bought these in late Dec. 2022 and installed them in two automatic fixtures outside the garage facing my driveway. They are nice and bright, good enough to provide light over the two-car driveway for my security camera to record in color during the night. Last night (2/15/24) my wife mentioned to me that one of them was not lit. Pulled it out and it appears that one of the LED strips got hot and melted and cracked the plastic shell (red arrow in one of the photos). Went back and looked at the camera recordings and saw that on 2/10/24 in the early morning, the light started decreasing in brightness. It should have remained steady throughout the dark hours.Props for being very bright; not so much for longevity or value for the money. $12.50 for a light that lasted under 14 months. LEDs are supposed to be long lasting so maybe these are being overdriven. It lasted through the summer months when it was fairly warm. It burned out when it wasn't that cold; maybe 40F. It's been colder than many times during the last two winters. The light fixtures are not totally sealed so heat from the lights should be able to escape. Both of them have spiders and webs inside.

My husband loves these CA New Sunshine 40W LED bulbs! They produce an impressive 5000 lumens of 5000K daylight white light, perfect for indoor and outdoor spaces. The corn-shaped design helps spread light evenly, making them feel even brighter than regular bulbs. Easy to install with the E26/E27 base, they're energy-efficient but shine like 300W. Highly recommended!

I wish the people who made LED bulbs would understand that it is impossible for them to make a bulb that is too bright. I love the brightness of these bulbs, but if I could I would buy bulbs that were even brighter.My driveway parking area has four "lantern" style lights, each of which holds two candelabra bulbs, which traditionally are limited to 60 watts. This is hardly enough to illuminate a driveway. They don't make hi-lumen bulbs with a candelabra base, so I purchased adapters so that these standard-base bulbs would fit. They do a good job of illuminating my parking area. I also use these bulbs in some indoor fixtures. I really like bright light. I do tend to leave my outdoor lights on 24/7, so I have had to replace some. I'm not upset about it. Overall, I am very happy with this product. I light bright light, and this product provides it.

Great and cute product. I like the design. Corn shape looks so cute. It's energy saving and very bright. It can be used anywhere you need. I plan to use it for photography lighting. It uses less power but produces so much light. And the price is great. I'd recommend it.

It's awesome. Super bright. I bought it for the backyard lamp.It works perfectly. It is just what I was looking for. Will probably buy a second one at a later date. I’ve tried 3 bulbs like this before finally finding one that was actually bright as described and neither too warm nor too cold of a white balance. This 40W LED is equivalent to about 120W incandescent. That being said, the corn design allows light to flow in almost all directions rather than point in one like the LED bulbs. This is an excellent product, highly recommended!

I purchased 2 of these light bulbs. They are both very bright. and the power usage is fairly close to the advertised 50W value. One for outdoors (shielded from snow/rain). Done its' first minus 35 degree winter and still working fine (8 months later). The other is indoors and working fine as well. The range is about 15 feet for the motion sensor. The light sensor part of the light does not seem to work as well as I would like. Day or night it still activates on motion. Hence the 4 star rating.

Constructed with hard plastic and meta base, easy to install, feel solid enough suitable for all occasions, perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. The bulb is bright and energy efficient, lights up entire room with only one bulb. Meet all my needs, highly recommended.
