Very nice light but the center rode on mine came bent

This fixture looks even better than the Amazon picture when installed. I needed to have a bright light in a home office. I have two 75 watt incandescent bulbs installed. A wall dimmer switch controls the light fixture. The two bulb sockets are medium based so you can get bulbs just about anywhere without having to pay a premium price. "Standard" sized compact CFL bulbs will also fit if using low energy is your thing. The fixture can handle two 100 watt bulbs maximum. Progress lighting has the product specs and installation instructions posted on their website to download as an Adobe PDF file.The overall quality is good. All parts fit together without any problem. The only thing I don't like is there is a plate over the bulbs which will make it pain in the caboose to change the bulbs. I am taking away one star for this, but the product gets four stars. See the instructions for an illustration of what I mean, but what the heck how often do you change bulbs and I like the fixture. Yes, I would recommend this product.

the first order arrived with the broken glass, but the sellers were able to send me a replacement 2 days after I requested it. (Free return shipping with return label for my broken fixture). Their service is great, but i give it 3 stars because of the overall look of the semi-flush. I have this hanging at a landing and I keep looking at it because it feels a bit awkward. The arm that holds the glass seems a little long to me. It's not a statement piece, and would hang too low for standard ceiling heights of 8ft.Otherwise, the pendant light works as a light source and is a huge improvement over my old 80's gold mount that I had before, it's a bit of an upgrade from standard builder's lights, but not by much.I give 3 stars for the light fixture it self, but give the overall rating 4 stars for the fast and efficient customer service.(Edit: I am not returning because I love the other chandeliers that matches this one, and they are all installed on the same floor)

The light is very nice and works well on our 8 foot high bedroom ceiling. All the materials are well made and the linen glazed glass is beautiful and thick. The instruction for assembly give only minimal detail and lack named parts. One thing to be aware of is the 3 inch shaft that extends below the bulb sockets and holds the glass in place can be bent to allow for horizontal leveling on a sloped ceiling. This is a good thing although nothing in the instructions tell you this. When I unpacked the light and saw the shaft was "bent" I assumed it was a material defect. But you'll see the shaft has a braded design in the center and this allows for shaping as desired (straight or bent). The shaft is thick and stiff so it requires effort to straighten or bend to retain the desired shape. In the end you should like this light.

I'm happy with it - I picked it up from Warehouse Deals and saved some money. My only complaint is that one of the flat mounting brackets was wrapped inside the instructions, and I missed it until I had already gone to Lowes and bought spare brackets/screws to install it with.

I have several other lights in the Alexa series and I love them! This light is no exception, it is beautiful and much brighter than the single bulb fixture it replaced. I read the reviews about the post being bent. The bottom of post where is connects the glass is a sturdy flexible metal designed to bend in any direction and I was able to straighten it to my liking. Maybe it is a new design to correct the issue described by others on Amazon reviewers. I would definitely buy this over again.

I feel this light should have been 3 lights and not 2. The looks of the fixture are nice, but when it is on, it looks like a bulb is out. Three lights would have spread the light out more evenly.

Needed a light that could hang in the kitchen but not interfere with kitchen cabinets opening and closing. Semi-flush lights are generally quite ugly. I quite liked this one though.
