I bought two of these 2-packs to hang a shade sail over our deck sitting area. 1 year installed an no issues, even with whipping winds and storms. They are very good quality and easy to resize as needed. I also appreciate the locking carabiners. I also love that they are in black, making it look more modern and upscale than stainless steel or silver, and it matches our black deck fence. Definitely buy these if you are looking for a sturdy chain.

Smooth finish and carabiners work well.My local hardware store was glad to shorten the chain for me. The black finish looks much nicer than the steel link chains the hardware store carries.

Firstly, I love that the carabiners lock. I had found a macrame swing chair that came with hanging equipment, but I already had a hook in the porch ceiling and A) didn't want to drill another hole, and B) the hook it came with wasn't NEARLY long enough, and most of the solo chains I could find were too long. This was easy to adjust, sturdy, and has plenty of chain to play with the height but not enough to slap you in the face if you let it hang free.

Used it to hold a gate, served its purpose.
