ColumbiaWomen's Benton Springs Vest

I've been a Columbia sports brand lover for quite some time. I own umpteen different colors of the long sleeve fleeces. I much prefer their products to pricier ones such as Reebok, Puma, and others. I spend my cold Upstate NY winters in them and they actually help us save on oil heating prices. I love that the fleece washes and drys well and generally does not lose its fluffiness.Never having bought one of the vests before, I decided to take a chance and order one. I LOVE THIS VEST! It fits me very, very well. I am 5'3", weigh about 122, 36C and ordered a medium. I must say, however, that I usually wear almost all my vests in early spring and fall with a lightweight sweater. I believe a small would fit me if I just wore it over a long-sleeved tee shirt. I should add that I do wear the sweater/vest combo in the winter under a heavy coat. I think that this Columbia vest won't be too bulky to do that.The fleece is a nice heavier weight compared to some more budget-conscious fleeces. The aqua color is absolutely gorgeous and true to what is shown on most monitors. I can't wait to wear it with my turquois jewelry. The collar is tall when raised, which will be great on those crisp fall days when I want to wear a scarf. All the zippers work really well, pockets included. I should mention that the pockets are deep and wide enough to carry my cell and a few smaller items in just one pocket.As for styling, I also like that the sides of the vest aren't sewn slab straight but rather indent slightly, giving the illusion of a waist line. For those are you who are larger sizes, this indent for the waist is not so significant that it will look strained on you and perhaps will make it appear that you are not a larger size. I only suggest this and do not know it as a fact because I've not seen these Columbia vests on others.Overall, I am absolutely thrilled to know that Columbia makes great vests that fit well and are made to be worn over and over again. I'm sure, though, that this "addiction" to Columbia fleece will not be good for my budget!

Material is soft, warm, and great weight. Pockets are generous size

Columbia Women’s Benton Springs VestI am quite pleased with my Columbia vest. I am hard to please and have been looking for a long time for a well-fitting, nicely made vest. I like that it has a sturdy zipper, and the pocket zippers are an added feature. The pockets are warm and deep enough to keep your hands warm on those cold days.Some other brands of vests have seam binding sewn around the arm holes but not these. Columbia properly hems the arm holes in the same manner as they hem around the bottom edge. These are quality. The collar is thick, and I would have liked it half as thick but who knows, it might come in handy on those colder days. It washes up nicely leaving no wrinkles, so I hung it to dry. I would have preferred that the vest was a true dark black and not charcoal. Attached is my old vest and Columbia vest on top for a comparison.I am 5’7”, 135 lbs. The medium is perfect. Not too loose and a heavy sweater worn under it works just fine.

I am happy with this vest, it does the job and fits properly. The price feels a little high for what it is -- if it were $10 less, I would have gotten it in two colors.

I absolutely LOVE this vest! It is warm and soft and cozy, fits like a dream, and has the best pockets! The two outer pockets are deep enough for a cell phone and keys, plus they zipper closed. The two inner pockets are even BIGGER! The photo shows my Kindle easily fitting inside one of them. Another favorite feature is the generous and well-shaped collar, which really keeps my neck warm and snug. The fit is very flattering and comes in slightly at the sides. I ordered this vest in my usual size (L) and it fits perfectly and very comfortably. The hemline lands right where my hip bends, which is exactly where I want it. For reference, I am 5'8" and 170 lbs and 38D. The main zipper closure and two pocket zippers are sturdy and glide smoothly. I can't say enough about this wonderful vest and how perfect it is for Fall/Winter wardrobe. It goes with everything, and makes my plain tops look sporty and dressed up. I'll be wearing this everyday! You won't disappointed, and I highly highly recommend it.

The vest is quite nice but I wanted to warn folks to be careful when ordering an XXL. According to their size chart (and the products themselves) XXL and 2X are different sizes. I ordered an XXL in "dark nocturnal" and the item showed up in the cart as 2X. I thought that was a bit weird, but maybe that was just how it was labeled in their system. When it arrived, it was definitely a 2X - labeled as such and way too big.I went back to Amazon and confirmed that anytime you put an XXL dark nocturnal in your cart, it shows as 2X. But the black XXL showed as XXL in my cart, so I ordered that and it was actually a XXL. It fit well and I'm keeping that one. Hopefully they will sort out the problem, but in the meantime, pay attention to how it is labeled in your cart.The vest itself is soft, warm, looks nice, and has 2 deep inner pockets in addition to the 2 zippered side pockets. I think it will be great. I have the coat version of this as well and it is very cozy and warm.

Fit is flattering, not boxy. Colors cheerful. Amazingly easy to wash. Soft, not too thick. Hang without wrinkles. I would like in more colors!

We live in a warm climate, and my daughter was taking a trip to the East Coast. I bought her a lot of new clothes for the trip because she only owns clothes for 80-90’s degree temps. The one thing that she told me to return when it arrived, was this vest. She said “it’s just not me”. I told her to just take it anyway, and we can return it if you don’t wear it. All throughout her nine day trip, I kept getting texts and phone calls about how wonderful the vest was! She had put it on the first flight and wore it for every leg and every day of the trip. Warm ✔️ Comfy✔️ Doesn’t take up space ✔️ Not bulky to wear✔️ Received compliments✔️ etc. It was her favorite item out of all her new pants and shirts and sweaters and jackets and shoes !!

Lo compré talla grande, me quedó un poquito holgado, pero el mediano no me hubiera quedado, no se ve grande. Lo recomiendo. Ideal para cuando el clima no se define, no necesitas algo más abrigado, pero si que te cubra.

Me gustó mi chaleco lo que no me gusta es que lo quería cambiar por una talla más grande fue mi error y ya no había nadie fuera el producto muy bien suave calientito cómodo nostroboso y de buenos cierres
