Size is correct, but confusing.
So, it appears I as well as others are confused about the size. This is a 1 inch knock out plate which fits a 1.25 inch diameter hole. If the hole you are trying to fill is 1 inch in diameter, then you need a 3/4 inch knock out plate and not a 1 inch.

Wrong Plug
I needed this for a project I was helping my neighbor with. I have cancer and other health issues so I try to stay away from Home Depot to avoid being exposed to this virus. Plug arrived and the package was correct but, the plug itself was 11/2". I had to got to Home Depot anyway!
