Light weight, easy to handle and it worked for just what I needed it to.

Part of my tool belt!
It is a great tool. I loved the ease in handling, I have a problem with my hand due to surgery, but this I worked pretty well. There are limits. Needed other tools for more intricate details.

Fabulous Painting Iron
I've been doing encaustic art for years. My older version of this iron finally died a painful death from having been dropped on the studio floor one too many times. I was thrilled to get this from Amazon at a better price than the original iron. Great versatility by being able to remove the handle and us it as a flat, hot surface for smaller art. Holds it temperature well. Good piece of encaustic equipment for a beginner or experienced painter.

These irons are defective
The handles fall off. They cannot be latched into place. Not a good thing for a hot iron! I returned immediately.

great tool if it lasted longer.
Worked great until it just literally stopped working. I have had it less than two months. Went to use it, and it won't heat. I take very good care of my tools, never dropped, always kept clean, and always stored in its box. Alot of money down the drain. I am disappointed and sad.

It said UK plug but didn’t have one!
I was so excited to open this. It clearly says in the advert ‘UK plug’ but after all that I couldn’t use it as it had a US end!!

Encaustic iron not in good shape when I got it.
I just got the iron September 9 and it only works on the high setting now.Very disappointed :( this product is a manufactures second if anyone fails to notice this as I did.
