I've had these for 2 months now. I have not changed a thing with my usage. EVEN with a huge increase in my utility fees (they did warn us a few months ago so I was on the hunt for options), which I was expecting to pay another $80.00 a month. I am paying $10 bucks less a month.Some reviews states that they are just useless night lights. I can guarantee they are pretty useless as a night light. BUT will definitely save you money. These will pay for themselves, given this rate in 3 months. I bought them for my upstairs and downstairs.

I'm an electrical/computer engineer. I design CPU chips for a living. I've been working in my field for over 15 years and have over 81 issued patents. I'm listing my background to let you know I know what I'm talking about on this topic.These do NOT lower your electrical bill by magically plugging them in. They "could" protect your electronics from small surges or irregularities on your circuit, but they don't even do a good job at that. Technically these use some electricity so they will raise your bill (by a few pennies).I knew they wouldn't lower my electric bill, but I bought them because my lights pulse when my wife uses her hair drier. Instead of the normal slow click on and after a while a click off caused by most power hungry devices hers causes a fast pulse. All of the lights on that circuit pulse. It makes my mornings annoying.To solve that I need a capacitor to be added into the circuit. I saw this device and figured that's what it was doing. Hopefully it would get rid of all of the highs and lows and remove the strobe light effect her device was causing. This device lowered the effect slightly, but not by much. I knew it was going to fail as soon as I picked up the device. It was too light. Large compositors are heavy. This isn't.I will cut this case open, remove the internals, add capacitors and reseal the case. That will solve my light pulsing issue. So I'll simply be using it for it's case/plug. Otherwise this is trash.DON'T BUY.

I purchased these for my house earlier this year and I recently received a notice from the electric company that my house used 33% less energy than the average house in my neighborhood. I can only attribute this to the energy savers.

Not much of a difference in power savings.

For gadgets of this kind the return window should be longer - 90 days. I compared electricity consumption during two intervals Nov 20 - Dec 20 with Dec 20 - Jan 20. I found second interval was less than the first by about 50 kWh. Mind you, during the first interval I was away on vacation for about 2 weeks while during the second interval I had the gadgets running for only 2 weeks. So the jury is still out. All four units are working. So I’m hopeful

Well I debated for so long about buying this product, because I was convinced it was a scam. But I did some more research and went for it. Boy am I glad I did!! For less than $20 investment for these units. It’s paid for itself 10 times over. My electric bill the month before I installed this product was $260. One month after plug all 4 in, my bill was $74!! And the next month $53! I still can’t believe it!! But I will say, I did go from summer months to fall, so I’m sure that helped a bit as well. My bill always said I was using like 3 and 4 times more energy than the average household my size and now it says that I’m using the average usage. So run, definitely don’t walk and BUY THESE! I think I will buy my family and friends these for Xmas. Enjoy the savings!

In stead of my bill being lower it much higher

Didn't do anything. Pretty sure the box just has a green light in it and doesn't actually have any functionality at all.
