My fountain arrived broken, and I reached out to the sellers, and they made it right within only a few hours. It was such a fast turnaround I was frankly amazed.I used to have a desktop fountain back in college, and I ran it pretty much any time I was studying, so now that I'm creating a new study space, I figured the sound of a fountain would help create the right atmosphere.This cute little fountain is decent; it was a bit difficult to assemble initially, and I'm not 100% sure I have the optimal water level yet. It is currently barely making a running water sound; ideally, I'd want to get water noise but not pump noise.I’m pleased that the LED emits only a gentle glow; I was afraid that, like some other models I’d seen, it would be more like a searing beacon.The one thing I don't like so far is that there is no external off switch. I think I was a little spoiled by my old fountain's in-line switch. You need to unplug the fountain to turn it off, which is important because most small model fountains aren't designed to run for more than 72 hours at a time.I will most likely remedy this by shelling out for a smart switch, which is going to make this less cost-effective but also less frustrating.The pump is extremely quiet at the current water level, so I don't have to worry that it will drown out the sound of the water running.(Obviously, if there's not enough water in the fountain, the pump will make noisy gurgling sounds, but I'm talking about under normal circumstances when the pump is fully submerged.)I've been trying to run the fountain on and off for a few days, and I haven't been able to get a satisfying water sound without the water threatening to be too low for the pump to be happy. If you're looking for soothing noise from this fountain, I don't think you're going to get it.

The media could not be loaded.  First off the "instructions" need to be improved.. it reads like whoever wrote them maybe has English as a second language... that's not a slight! They clearly speak more than one language and I only speak one! I only say that because it's not clear or detailed enough.. there is a switch on the pump but no clear explanation what it does.. my ball spins really slow and I tried changing the speed(which is what I'm assuming the button does) to no avail.. didn't change anything.. second the motor for the pump is kind of loud..I mean I'm very aware of the sound constantly of the motor and not the water. You can't hear the water at all .. if the motor wasn't annoying me so much and I actually heard the water it would be better but.. it's a cute little fountain I guess ****UPDATE****it's only been 4 days and I'm regretting purchasing this fountain... so I happen to look up and noticed that even though the fountain was on the ball was no longer spinning.. which brings me to my next issue with this... the fountain has loose rocks that come with it... however in order to add water u have to lift off the entire top of the fountain which means taking off all the little stones and putting them back on... after I added more water the ball still wouldn't spin...I had to pick up and put back down the ball a few times before it would start spinning again...tbh I no longer want this fountain but it's more hassle to send it back so live and learn I guess

First because of the small capacity and the design the pump would air lock and the water wouldn't flow after you turned it off and turned it back on. The water level needs to stay high in order to have the stength to make the ball spin. I've worked with pumps for years so I did have a little knowledge in order to fix it. First I changed the length of the tube. It had to be cut to a specific length in order to draw up the water consistently without getting air locked. Too short would not work and neither would too long. My particular fountain was a little too long. I had some of my own tubing so I could experiement to get the right length. The second thing I did was put it in a larger vessel and cut off the bottom of the bowl it was in so I had more water capacity. Then I had to make a grid to go around the unit to hold the rocks . After I made the changes it was great.

Functions well. No issues. Trickle sound is a bit low volume wise. A bit finicky with water level. But overall great purchase.

It's a very nice thing as I have it in my bedroom. Very soft noise. The only thing a I am missing is the switch on the cord for me to turn off. As it turns out, I have to unplug the unit. Trying to adjust the water level and when to add. Love the different color changes.

You get what you pay for I guess is what I would apply to this fountain.

Bought to have a bit of a peaceful feel on my work desk. Love the fountain and it is peaceful. The ball does not spin. I was a little sad but it's still very cute and soothing.

I was looking for a fountain for my star when this popped up. I thought it was cute. I receive it and first impression was blah, the packaging was disappointing. Then I open and the directions are a joke. I figure it out because it’s easy enough but the directions would have been nice. The pump is going (it has a few settings that were not described as I stated before the directions were a joke) and I loved it UNTIL I noticed that the LIGHT DOES NOT STAY ONE COLOR 😤 which annoyed the crap out of me because it’s not listed as color changing in the description and the Aqua color that was pictured was the main reason I was drawn to it. All & all I have a fountain for my altar. Do I love it eeh do I feel like going through the return procedure NO to much of a hassle.
