Lasted over a year before I took it down to move
I had to use these to keep my cats separated once it became clear that in the summer I wasn't going to be able to keep the doors closed without someone having a heat stroke. This was a better permanent solution than the baby gates I was using. It's a little annoying if its a door you use frequently, having the unzip and rezip the whole thing. And think about the side you want the door flap to be on before you install it. It held up for as long as I was living in that place though part of the adhesive had started to peel up (but it comes with plenty of velcro tape, if you need to replace any you're all set.) I had been a little worried about my cats working open the zipper or climbing it and tearing it down, they never even tried. Worked great.

Stronger screen that does its job!
We’ve used this product for a month so far, and we love it! The material is thick and sturdy. It fits our door perfectly with some minor adjustments, because they accidentally sent us 1 size up. The adhesive is strong and the zipper hasn’t had any issues, even with unzipping multiple times a day since purchase. Our cat tried biting/clawing at the screen for the first few nights, but then quickly realized he couldn’t penetrate the barrier, and gave up eventually. We just purchased a 2nd one for another bedroom, so we are happy with the products ability to keep our cat out of areas he’s shouldn’t be in.

Does the Job
Easy to set up, pretty sturdy, really helped the cat acquaintance process as I introduced a new cat to my two kittens. They became friends in no time. This was super helpful. Beware, my boy cat tried to climb the screen numerous times. They will still try to climb it.

Works great on outside door
My apartment has no window and I wanted to get this so my cats could have some more enrichment. I was worried the adhesive wouldn't be strong enough as it had to be installed on the outside of my door, however, I have had it for a week and so far it has worked great. Installed onto my outdoor metal door frame and sticks very well, even after a severe storm it is holding up the same. My cats have clawed at it and it didn't rip and they are absolutely loving looking at the birds outside and sitting in the sun. Over all a great product and exceeded my expectations

Helped for a while and then ripped
Bought this less than 3 months ago to block off the hallway that leads to my front door. One of our cats had been notorious for waiting by the front door to bolt out at first chance when someone entered. This did the job for a while, albeit with flaws. The tacks that come included with this are hilariously weak and fall out easily, so I had to hammer nails in to keep this in place. And I wish there was a strap or something to keep the zipper door open for longer periods if we needed to bring stuff through without possibly getting caught in the mesh. But it was nice to have some security when opening the front door and not worrying about a cat being on the other side. And then one day the bottom mesh ripped near the zipper, big enough for a cats head to fit through. So now this entire setup will need to be replaced with something else and we’re back to square one. There’s no fixing this mesh and ever getting the original strength of the material back. And tape does not stay on this for very long.So this works if you need a quick fix as soon as possible for securing your pets, but be aware over time a determined pet will scratch, bite and tear at it until they get through.

Perfect for keeping animals separate!
We use it on our stairs, so each cat has a floor to themself. If you detach the handrail for a second & feed it through the screen, you can have the zippers meet at the rail (if your cats are little punks like mine you'll just have to latch the zippers together with carabiners or something like I did). It's fantastic quality & the perfect size--plus it actually comes with enough fastners!

Does the job
This is our second attempt at introducing the cats. We had another mesh screen but the adhesive didn’t hold up. So far, this one is holding up at the resident’s cats attempt to break through. My only gripe is that it’s difficult to remove the tape from the adhesive. We’re excited to have them fully integrate with each other. I’ll update the review if the adhesive loses its effectiveness quickly.

Great for separating your cats.
I think this is a good product, especially for the money. It took me about an hour to put it up. I would recommend that folks use the tacks which are provided at the top in the corners and in the middle to make sure he doesn’t want to come down. We use it to separate our cats. One cat has been with us for six years. We have a new cat, which is basically been living in our office for about nine months. We finally got the cat to interact with us humans but she still doesn’t like Our other cat. So we put up the screen based on the recommendation of a friend of mine who used to work in the zoo. They used to have to have newly arrived animals get used the existing animals, and they did it by putting them in close proximity separated by a screen or cage door. I really think it’s going to help us. It’s easier to put up with two people. Also a three or 6 foot level comes in handy so that you can mark the areas where the tape goes accurately.
