No issues
Lock goes on easy, no issues like are reported with some other brands. Looks great, won't know until after winter how it is for moisture/ corrosion

Keyed locks
I ordered 4 of these from here and I got 3 different key codes. Why the hell would I order four and want 3 different keys. This is so dumb

Poor Quality Locks; Worse Customer Service
Bought 8 new Trimax locks for my trailer end of Oct., all keyed to the same barrel style key. In less than 6 months, 4 of 8 have failed. Despite being lubricated, they froze to the point where they wouldn’t unlock when I was driving in winter weather; took 30-60 minutes with a heat source to thaw them and get into my trailer on 2 occasions (while standing out in the cold!). Then one came unlocked and fell off my trailer while driving. The lock cylinder fell out of another one when I picked it up; I fixed that by tightening a screw that was loose, but now it won’t lock regardless of which way I turn the key. And one won’t unlock at all, and I’ll have to pay a locksmith to drill it out so I can remove my trailer hitch. A 50% failure rate in under 6 months!Even worse, I have gone back and forth with customer service for 8 weeks now to get these fixed or replaced…8 weeks! Their answer is always the same on 3 of the locks: we’ll happily replace them, I’ll see if they’re in stock, and I’ll call you back in 10 minutes, or by noon tomorrow. Have never, ever received a call back; I wait several days, and then call them back. On 4th lock, the one that won’t unlock, manager says they only warrant their hitch locks for 90 days since they don’t know where the driver is using them. (Really: they’re so poorly made that they only work for 90 days?) As I started to tell her I’ve used them only in CO where this company is located, she cut me off to tell me it didn’t matter to her; it was after 90 days, so it didn’t matter what I had to say. Cutting a customer off mid-sentence and telling them the circumstances of the product’s failure doesn’t matter to them? She told me that 90-day policy was all over their website and written material; I can’t find it anywhere on their website. She too said she’d call me back by the end of the day regarding the other 3; never heard back.Poor products; poor customer service.

Missing keys
Ordered 3 locks and received one lock outside of the original packaging (just in a plastic bag).Second issue, one of them is missing the keys.Updated...found another issue. While picking them up from the counter, one of the backing plate screws fell to the floor. Across the 3 locks that I have purchased, 6 of the backing plate screws needed to be tightened. They were almost falling out, similar to the one that hit the floor.
