Great quality and fast delivery
We ordered this because our new boat came with a cheaply made Bimini that seemed like it would fall apart quickly. I’m a 55 year old female and was able to assemble it myself (I’m pretty handy, though). One of the pipes came a little squished so I had to work it a bit to get it to fit. The quality of this product is excellent and I feel confident that it will hold up well. I’m glad we spent the extra money and ended up with a superior product.

Solid quality
I’m stunned I would’ve been happy if I had paid twice the money, heavy duty, 1 inch tube, quality canvas, good fittings, measurements, just right you will not be sorry with this product. We had hurricane damage to our Bimini and the estimate to repair the parts and stitch up the canvas; was twice what we paid for this and it’s even better quality that all of what we had. Decent product, arrived broken
The box arrived beat up but nothing was missing so I installed it on my center console. One of The rear support poles was broken but I filled it full of 5200 and let it set while compressing it. They do send straps and rings for the rear along with the poles so that’s an added bonus I guess. The cover is too short to cover the whole top when collapsed. The hardware is pretty good, Everything is stainless and comes with thumb screws with lock washers. The metal hoops are nice too. A longer cover and better packaging would be nice.

We Love This Top. Wished the frame was sturdier.
We bought the biege top last year because black was sold out. We have the tallest and maybe the widest version. I purchased the metal braces last year, which is HIGHLY recommended. This year I purchased 3 1/4" x 10mm screws to replace the tiny screws that come standard. The metal braces are NOT coming off. I've driven my boat 40 mph with the top open. But I didn't go that fast very long. Add headwinds and that could be way too much strain. But we average about 25 mph. I have no fear of driving with the top open at that speed. The frame moves a lot from side to side. I only notice it if someone forgets to NOT grab the supports. It's very easy to place in the boot and zip it up, along with the front straps. When unboxing and putting it together have a large tarp or clean soft surface to protect the cover and metal. Take your time. It's easy to install the frame parts on the wrong side because it's upside down. Easy to correct. A nice little phillips screw driver is included. I've used it around the house. I wish I had this installed years ago. Might have delayed my skin cancer.

Take that SUN!
I was in search of the perfect accent for my watercraft, and someway to protect the delicate skin under my thinning hair, while also shielding my precious blue eyes. Even though it is not as cool as the open-air cruising of the younger care free sort jetting around the waterways, at some point you must accept the ever-present reality that your youth is fading away. Gone are the days when you could lube up with Crisco, or baby, oil and stand naked in the noon-day sun. Gone are the days where your beautiful tanned skin is wrinkle free and resilient as a baby's bottom. Gone are the days where a simple visor and Oakley polarized sunglasses are all that's needed to bask in the solar furnace of summer. Yes, now there is an urgent need to cover what is coming uncovered, protect those baby blues, and keep the liver spots from standing out like a ginger-freckled lad. While I assume there are many, and varied, options to accomplish this task, all fell short of what I had in my minds eye. And while it is nearly impossible to hide under a canopy on the beach, wearing SPF 5,000, without looking like you should be wearing sandals, black socks, and full length swimwear from the turn of the century, I think I have found the one option that escapes all these issues. The MSC 4 Bow, 8' Bimini Boat Top with Rear brace and color matched storage cover, hits the mark on all points. It is sexy looking, both stowed and deployed, and provides ample space to move about under the taunt fabric. When I first opened the small box which looked far too compact to hold the advertised product, I was amazed at how much bimini was enclosed in such a small space. As I removed, and unwrapped, the myriad of parts, I was a little intimidated at the task before me. However, as I read the handy instructions (with pictures) my fears were allayed as I began the assembly. Within an hour, I had it mounted and quickly drawing a crowd of neighbors wishing to take a closer look at this beautiful product. I couldn't help but snap a few photos to send to my friends and I was certainly beaming with pride with all the pat-on-the-back well wishes for a great find and excellent job of installation.Great product for the price and I appreciate the full color "Hey if you like this, you will love all the other wonderful MSC products shown here!" advertisement included with the instructions. Two thumbs up from this guy!New problem, how to look cool with an awesome new Bimini Top, perched on a dingy sized raft, while visiting surrounding hot-spots, pulling up next to the luxury cruisers, and still catch the eye of scantily clad beach bunnies...I'm certain Amazon has that product as well. I wonder what department that's in...sigh?

Easy to Install and Decent Quality
Quality is decent and worth the price. Of course, this is much lower quality than other options on the market, but this top is cheap and easy and therefore worth the cost. I worry about the plastic mounting brackets. They seem a little cheap, but I think we should get at least a few summer out of them. This is a great option if you are looking for a light duty top!

Front strap placement
Over all the construction lookes solid, the front straps I didn't like where they attached to the pole , trying to fold the strap fabric in between that tiny plastic piece, does anyone have a better way of securing that?Overall it's good quality bimini haven't had it out on the water yet. I did purchase the Lund Brocraft rail mounts which are awesome for getting the top exactly where you want itI will get back with you on how it holds up through the years. Also wondering about upgrading the plastic feet with metal ones along with the quick release pins instead of those dinky screws

8 out of 10
It appears to be good quality for the money. Measurements are accurate and when assembled correctly the Bimini fabric has a good taught stretch which should withstand the wind when moving. One disappointment was the fittings to connect to the boat. The photos showed metal fittings and what arrived was nylon/plastic fittings. I went to the $700 price range to get the metal fittings and then they were substituted
