This part does not fit 2006 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer V8. Part also looked used and had rust.
A waste of time. The description said it would fit my 2006 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer V8, But vehicle does not even use this part. This item also looked used to me and had rust on the areas where the bolts go. I returned the item,

Fixed my problem
Had a problem with #5 cylinder not firing properly. Repair shop wanted to replace fuel injector but this coil fixed my problem at a much much lower cost.

Good quality
This did fit my 96 ranger XLT 4x4 with a 3.0. Runs great. I did replace the 8mm. plug wires too.

easy job
I replaced the original coil pack after 100K. This was an easy change out as to remove is 4 bolts and unplugging the plug wires. This is a bit sooner than normally recommended for the coil pack but one cylinder was missing and I replaced the spark plugs and the spark plug wires at the same time. Truck started right up and no more missing. The truck should be good for another 100K.

When you have a weak spark
It started with a ruff idle and then it started missing.I changed the plugs and wires it helped a little so next was the coil pack pulled the plug wires one at a time looking for a more blue spark and two wires were weak so I got a new coil and it worked great.Always remember to use a good insulated pliers.
