Compostable Bags for Kitchen Compost Bin, 1.2 Gallon, 125 Count, Certified by BPI and ASTM, Leakproof and Odor Control

Very happy with these bags. Other brands that I have purchased tear when removing them from the rest of the roll which renders them unusable. These do not. They fit well in my kitchen counter composter and in small trash cans.

Great Bag! Priced right! Strong and Sturdy!I have been composting for years and for a long time it was difficult to find the right product that wouldn't split open on me as I walked to my compost bin the backyard. We use these bags in our home tumbler and they work fantastic. Strong enough to hold and within a few weeks mother natures has done its job and eaten it away. The bright green color makes it easy for the kids to learn the separation tricks.

These bags do decompose. The issue is letting them sit too long in your compost jar. We did and the bottom gave way because the decomposing veggies had dissolved the bottom enough to give way when we removed it from the jar. Otherwise, the bags are great.

These bags are exactly what I wanted them to be and then some. They’re able to hold a surprising amount, and I love being able to compost my food stuffs in eco friendly bags like these. They’re a little thin and can tear when you’re separating them, but even if they do it isn’t the end of the world because they’re biodegradable!

I’ve been purchasing these bags for a while now to empty our cats litter box. I love these bags because they are durable- never any holes or tears- and they can hold a good amount of weight. I like that they are compostable, which makes me feel better about using plastic. They’re not the cheapest but they’re a great value for the price and when you feel the material you can tell they’re high quality. I’ll keep buying them.

right size for container - sturdy -easy to tie

I use these bags to line our ceramic compost bin that is kept on the kitchen counter. Serve their purpose. Too much liquid will leak.

I was looking for compostable bags as I strongly dislike plastic and want to do better for the environment! I had used only a handful of bags (5) from the roll when I realized that the next few bags were all sealed on the bottom and unable to be opened! It's as if during the process of sealing the bottom of the bag, the whole strip was accidentally sealed as the bags were folded, resulting in not being able to use the bag to it's full extent. Not sure why the first handful were fine, and the rest have quality issues, but I will still be able to use the bags even though they won't fully open. They're quite soft/flimsy anyways, so perhaps this reduced capacity will work better so there are no tears. I've attached photos in case anyone is interested.

I was not able to find a bag large enough for my large food bin. This was extra large and did the work. It keeps the bin clean. Just wish it was cheaper. Over all its a good product, just have to be mindful how often replacing it. I use this as a liner for my smaller bags.

These are great to line a green bin. Some others are very wide and large but these are large but also deep to fit down into the container.
