I loved that I was able to find a replacement part for my food processor. Lots of bowls on line, but very few lids… at least very few in Canada. It arrived in two days. Excellent service.

The bowel cover we received was not like the one in the picture. There were two additional tabs on each side of the top in addition to front and back tabs. The top did not fit tightly enough to engage the release at the back that allows the food processor to run. You can press the back down and hold it while you run the food processor, but this is not at all practical.It is really frustrating when products are shipped that do not match the description. Amazon should really take better care to provide honest information.

Cuisinart’s website indicates this top fits my model. Technically I can put the top on my original work bow, but it doesn’t engage the safety mechanism without constant downward pressure. It’s not the experience I want or would expect from Cuisinart.

I now have another correct replacement part for my quiet/quality food processor. Unlike some others, my original bowl + assembly still works fine (after 3 years of light/moderate use), but I anticipate it will wear out in the future. I think it's a good idea to have immediate back up parts on hand, for that day. I'm so grateful for other reviewers mentioned looking for OEM manufacturer's part number imprinted on the edge of the desired part, and using that to order. My bowl cover came quickly and was packed in a box, so it was protected and in good shape upon arrival. I just wish Cuisinart would increase the size of the imprinted part #'s, as well as contrast the color with the rest of the see-through plastic, on the assorted replaceable parts.

I ordered a top cover piece for my Cuisnart food processor. It’s a wonderful machine that I can not live without. The weak point for this machine is the plastic cover and the taps that fit the top to the bowel. They break with use. I hand wash the plastic bowel and top, but I use this machine a lot. So during Christmas baking, it broke. I ordered one but it disappeared ( porch pirate??). They sent me another one extra quick. It fits! Perfect. Thank you costumer service! You were so nice.
