Super easy to to put up. I laid out all of the panel side by side starting with number one on the left. I rolled the sections up going from the bottom to the top. Peeled back the top 6 inches and stuck that to the wall. I used clothes pins to keep the rest of the Roll together while I peel the down the backing and gently pressed the mural to the wall. Once I got about halfway down I took off the clothes pins and pulled the rest of the backing down and continue to press the mural to the wall with my hand. I then used my newly cancelled Macy's credit card to smooth out the rest. It took me less than an hour to put up. You can put up each panel on the time it takes to cook One Hot Pocket. After the first panel I had a couple beers. And had no problem putting the rest up slightly inebriated. now that it is up hopefully it will stay. It does have a bit of a strong smell to it but I have the windows opened and am hopeful that the stench will go away.UPDATE: This stayed up very well for the 2 years that I chose to leave it up. I only removed it because I was moving out of my apartment. Upon taking it down, it did peel some of the plaster off the walls however, it was super easy to fix with spackle. Would highly recommend - I'd rather fix walls with spackle upon removing it (because it stayed adhered so well rather than have it fall down). So still a 5 star review after 2 yrs and some spackle touch up. I am confident that it would have stayed up for many more years. Never once did it start to peel off.

The reviews of putting up other similar murals scared me so I decided to put it up with the backing on like wallpaper...could not have been easier.

I ordered the wall26 Mountain Range View to put into my son's room. The smell hits you as soon as you open the box. I took the mural outside to my garage to "air out" in the hopes that the yucky smell would come out of the product. It has currently been airing out for more than 3 months, and it still smells awful! I would never put this inside a space that you are going to sleep in - and breath in all that nastiness every night while you sleep, yuck! I had high hopes for this wall mural and looked for months for the perfect one. I am sad to say that this will probably end up being a very expensive piece of garbage.

I ordered this beautiful mural for our kitchen remodel. Read the instructions and it called for a 1/2" overlap at the seams to match, so I installed it as directed. When I was done, I took a big step back and tried to take in the whole wall. The seams ruined the entire project. I wrote to the company, thinking something must be wrong with the product - on their website you don't see a seam, or even a hint of one. They recommend that it's supposed to have the seams, but if I wanted I could cut the top layer of the seam off. Now this material is a very tough plasticky type deal and I'm pretty sure I couldn't get a clean cut with the sharpest razor, so I opted to leave it alone - Pretty sure I can't return this, since it's on the wall and would make for a nasty shipment. My recommendation is don't get this design (I think the darker colors hide the seams better) - It was a lot of work to install and get mediocre results.

This is a great piece. Kinda hard to put up perfectly, but all of the wall stickers are. This one is the best I have purchased, looks super realiztic with no "bending" of the image at the corners like some other forest scene pics are. The light coming into the scene is gorgeous, and it adds a calm serene feeling to the room. I love it.

Gorgeous, but a nightmare to install on old unlevel walls. The cockeyed walls led to endless repositioning, which then mean my drywall and paint started peeling off with it. And that stuff absolutely would not come off of the sticky side. (Renters beware!)That resulted in pockets of areas that look like there are air bubbles. But, now that it's installed, it really is gorgeous- flaws and all.

In order for the mural to line up, you must overlap each mural piece, some as much at 1 1/2 - 2”! I don’t recall this being mentioned in the description. This has left me 1 1/2” short on my wall. If I want it fixed, I have to completely reorder & hope the new order won’t cause me to over lap quite so much. Because of this blunder your losing approximately 6-8” mural! Nice!! Y’all SUCK!!!

The vinyl is quite sturdy and held up well to the hanging process. We were able to pull back and reposition without damage when necessary to adjust the picture mach or remove air bubbles. once in position, we went over the whole piece applying pressure to ensure adhesion, especially at the edges. It's only been a month but we've had no curling or peeling back. Since it's on a wall between two hallways, we did add a clear plastic corner guard (from a home improvement store) on each side, and trimmed the top with narrow crown moulding. The only downside is that the panels overlap about an inch, which leaves a vertical stripe that's darker than the rest of the panel at the seams. It was hung on a white wall, perhaps a darker base would minimize that.

Looks great on our wall in the basement. The only thing I don't like is the seams have to overlap each other to get the picture to match up.
