Q: Does this sticker cover up the "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" warning or do I need to remove those letters before adding sticker?

Those letters are etched in the glass. They’re NOT decals. You can put these right over top of the factory mirrors !!

Q: Will they come off cleanly or if I try to take it off will it leave sticky stuff on the mirror?

Sorry, I haven't tried to take them off. But they don't meld to the mirror only sticky. So if you just clean your mirror afterwards, it should be smooth as Angelina Jolie's chest.

Q: How does it work? Do you put the sticker then remove it and the letters stay on like a tattoo?

Yes, remove the backing paper, place the sticker, rub sticker to help transfer to mirror and then peel away to leave just the letters.
