This is a really nice shield for my 2021 Toyota Tundra.
Likes:It covers the cats real well it seems to be quite beefy the pre-drilled holes are all in the right spots the hardware was in there and it worked great.Dislikes:They use pre-existent holes on some cross beams from the frame if you take measurements you'll find them on the front ones about 15 inches apart the back ones are about 44 inches apart and 29 in behind the front one to the back one so it's not too hard to find that.It uses a T-45, that is supplied to screw in the four stainless steel bolts, they use a kind of a washer and nut combination to fit inside the frame wiggle it around into the hole and start it on the front corner. It probably took me (a 68-year-old not the leanest man in the world) to crawl under my Tundra about an hour to put on.The t45 is bigger than the quarter inch drives I had, I ended up using a 5/16 socket which I had to tape in place or else I lost bit in the gravel four times. It would have been nice to have pictures of the holes before I crawled under there but it's fairly easy to figure out.And they totally cover all four cats.

Good Product, Steep Price
Good product. I did the install myself. No Jack. If your a skinny guy it’s easy getting under truck and using your body to prop up. Took about 30 min. A Jack and stands would make it easier for sure. It does provide protection. The truth is, if someone REALLY wanted to take your cats and had the time, they could. But this will help prevent them and or make it much harder. All in all it’s a nice simple solution and easy install. My only complaint is the price is a little heavy for basically a solid piece of thin aluminum. It cover all four cats.

Item fit nicely and easy to install. Make sure the screws fit the brackets before actual install.
The protector seems solid, but very disappointed that I failed to install after two attempts. As the picture shows below the thread doesn’t fit for some screws.I will update this review after the issue is addressed. Here is the update:Seller understood my need and sent a new set. Installed right away and fit nicely. Recommended!!!

TRD Pro owners, read this
This is super easy to install. I used Vibra-TITE VC-3 Threadmate on the bolts. Better than Loctite in my opinion and made specifically to be easily removed while preventing a bolt from loosening due to vibration. TRD Pro owners! Listen up. As mentioned before, loosen the factory skid plate bolts but here is the key, loosen them just enough to force the guard underneath. If you loosen the factory skid plate bolts even a little too much, after the guard is installed you won't be able to prevent the nut on top from spinning in order to tighten the visible 15mm skid plate nut. Mine are spinning freely because I didn't realize this and was in a rush. If there's any rattling I'll have to go back and fix it. Also, since I didn't see any photos of the female end of the guard, I'm posting one to hopefully make things more clear.

Great deterrant with easy installation
The shield arrived a week sooner than estimated on the order. It is well made with a simple one piece design unlike other shields on the market. I thought the 1/8" thick aluminum might be a little flimsy but it is not. Installation took less than 30 minutes with the truck front up on a set of ramps. A couple more mounting holes would have been nice. So far there are no rattles or noise. It should provide enough deterrence for a would-be thief to look elsewhere.

Perfect fit. Covers all 4 Catalytic Converters
Very pleased with the FULL size cover. I returned the smaller black cover. Amanda was great on the phone & customer service was good with this company.Word to the owner: I would focus more on the Full size plates & not the so much the black plates with half coverage. You could even put the Toyota logo in the center, pitch it to the Toyota dealerships in Houston and potentially partner with them. The Toyota service rep told me they don't have anyone in mind to partner with. Very pleased so far. Went on like a glove. Hopefully these low-lives will get a job & stop stealing other people's hard earned property. I even installed motion sensor alarms underneath. It doesn't hit home until it hits YOUR HOME . never again....

Secure
This cover provides maximum protection for your precious catalytic converters, there’s literally no way for anyone to access them. I was a little concerned about the lack of instructions however it was self explanatory once you have it in position. Using a floor jack to hold it in place worked well and I would definitely recommend that to anyone that is installing it by themselves. Once positioned in didn’t take more than 15 minutes to get it bolted up. Good product!

A great USA made product by a veteran owned business...
I installed the TPFI cat shield on my 2019 Tundra Trd Pro. The install was not nearly as difficult as some folks made it out to be for a Tundra Trd Pro install. I was able to fully loosen the engine skid plate mounting bolts, easily slide the cat shield between the engine skid plate and the cross member of the truck. Then lift up the rear of the cat shield into place and install the two rear security bolts. Afterwards, I was able to access the top nuts of the engine skid plate mounting bolts by reaching around the engine skid plate (one side at a time of course) with my arm and a short 15mm wrench while I tightened the bolts from underneath, I have fairly long arms and it is pretty tight but can be done (there's a Youtube video showing another person accessing the nuts for the engine skid plate mounting bolts on a Tundra Trd Pro after doing a different cat shield install which gave me confidence that I could reach the nuts for the engine skid plate mounting bolts once the TPFI shield was installed). After the TPFI cat shield install, I drove around at different speeds driving over speed bumps and at highway speeds and I had no new or unusual noises. The cat shield does not extend down too low in my opinion, it fully covers the front cats and adequately covers the rear cats, see photos.I did look at other catalytic converter shields but the high cost of some and the complexity of having to piece together a shield on others turned me off from them. I'm glad to have made this purchase and would recommend a TPFI shield to others seeking a cat shield.Hope this review helps someone out!
