A Poetic Ride Through London
This was the perfect book to read to my six-year-old granddaughter as we prepare for our trip to London this summer! The poetry is well-written and the facts well-researched. From rhyming couplets, to haiku, to a river poem that meanders through London in the Thames, adults as well as children are entertained and informed. We loved the count-down poem in Trafalgar Square and the frustration expressed in the changing of the guards poem as a child struggles to see the guards through the crowd. The lively, detailed pictures, like the street scene and running children in the poem Rain, kept my granddaughter's interest high. As a children's book writer, I appreciate the work that went into this gem of a book.

Cute but long
Very cute illustrations and really matches all the monuments in London. Only complaint is that if you want a short bedtime story for the little ones, this isn't it.

A beautiful journey through London for the young and old!
This is a fantastic book to introduce children to the wonders of London! It also brought me back to the sights and sounds of the city, which I have visited in years' past. This is a book that will surely ignite the imagination and 'travel itch' in children and adults alike!

This book has appeal on so many levels!
Travelers will love the sense of exploration and discover the poems exude. Teachers will love the variety of poems: great models for classroom work. Children of all ages will love studying the pictures to find the raven who appears on each page. Top notch poems and illustrations make this a great poetry collection.

A magical ride
What a magical ride. The rhyming, lyrical nature of the book makes you want to climb on board and sing your way around London. A great introduction to London with useful tidbits for the classroom or car ride that will lure many readers to want to climb aboard for a real trip. Even if I never get to London I will feel as if I've experienced the sites and sounds of the city.

A delightful guide to visiting London
This is a delightful guide through many different places a traveler would enjoy visiting in London. The poetic structure changes for each site, reflecting the diversity of what London has to offer travelers. My kid's favorite is the SEEK AND FIND section, a fun WHERE'S WALDO-like game to learn about Trafalgar Square.

The Perfect London Guide for Kids
Very cute book of poetry. Many favorite tourist spots are mentioned, and each one has a different style of poem. My 4yo loved reading through these poems while we visited London. It turned into her personal London bucket list. Now that we’re back from our trip, we can still read the book together and help her remember the fun things we saw.

Great Book
This was a great book for my 4 year old daughter. She learned a lot about London before our trip there. She quickly identified Big Ben and the tower bridge just from reading the book. It got her excited for the trip and made it a little more fun for her.
