I purchased 3 of these frames. First they are big. They fit my baseball and hockey jerseys without a problem. Second, they look good. I think it would look more impressive with a wider wood but for the money, you can't beat it. The clear panel is acrylic and not glass. (But then the expensive $259 frames sold by NHL.com and MLB.com are also made of acrylic). They come in very well packaged large boxes. You have to take a protective sheet off each side of the acrylic and they advise you to do it with a blow dryer warming up the sheet and loosening the adhesive. That worked well. The frame comes with 4 metal saw tooth hangers already attached to the top row in the back And that's a good thing because the frame in the back is too narrow to try to put your own hanging hardware on it. There is plastic rod and a rod hanger inside to hang your jersey and this was very handy. The black velvet in the back along with a black frame really enhances the color of the jerseys.The bad: each frame came with a small problem. Two of them had the acrylic popped out of the track. No big deal, I just had to bend the little metal clip holding it in place back and pop the acrylic back and bend the metal clip back into position. The third had stickers underneath the protective sheet which meant it left adhesive marks on the acrylic. And another one came with a scratch on the acrylic. Small things but a bit annoying. The frames and the acrylic also have a bit of a cheap feel to me when I was handling it. But once the frames were hanging, it looked impressive.Bottom line: the frames look good. Considering it would cost upwards of several hundred dollars to get the jerseys framed at a professional shop, these were a great economical compromise. The small little glitches were a bit annoying but for the price, that's to be expected.Also of note, I bought each frame one at a time over two weeks, and the price on this thing kept changing on Amazon by the day. I bought one for 114.95 and another for 127.95. So keep an eye out on the price fluctuations.

First off, only 4 stars so far because I have not had a chance to hang it ~ I don't know how to hang almost 20 pounds on the wall !!Secondly, this frame is HUGE. To me anyway. I got it to put my husband's <high school football jersey> in (the "mighty mighty" Hinton High (WV) Bobcats, 1968 State Champs!). I would like to see Amazon "make" us fill out a form and answer questions about what we want an item for ... I struggled with which frame to get for my husband's jersey. I finally settled on this one because of the ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS given.I laid out my hubs' jersey and measured across the shoulders and from the shoulders to the bottom hem; from all the other reviews, I knew I was not going to be happy with bunching up the bottom of his 45 year old jersey. I wanted it to hang straight down and definitely be wide enough across the shoulders. Well, come to find out, this case is PLENTY LONG enough, a couple inches in fact . It just is exactly WIDE enough.There is enough room to pin the jersey down securely and let it go at that. This case has a great lock and key ... though I really do not understand why. If someone knows you have a great jersey or something else in this case, on the wall or wherever, why bother to UNLOCK IT ??? Just take the whole darn thing !! Anyway, it looks really nice; brass hinges and lock and key, per my attempted attached photos.Something I figured out the hard way once the frame arrived and the package was opened up ... hub's jersey is JET BLACK with orange numbers ... the frame's frame and the backing is ALSO JET BLACK ... the ONLY thing you can see is the orange number 53 .. it's like magic, I swear it is! His number is just hovering in the middle of the frame ... back to my comment about enough room to pin the jersey ... I think what we will do is pull up the bottom of the jersey and add some other stuff, like newspaper articles, etc. I will work with the long sleeves, pin them up neatly, somehow. The frame is big enough that we can fold the jersey in half and add stuff at the bottom and have plenty of room to work. The frame is plenty deep or thick too. The whole thing is amazing -- it's much nicer than you would imagine.Definitely recommend for a prized possession!

Last year I won a New York Islanders signed jersey from my favorite player. I went around to steiner sports and a few framing places and to see the cost of framing it. all started at $400 and up. So I picked this frame up and tried it myself and it looked great. I won another jersey this year and bought this same frame again and the new jersey looks great in the frame. I mounted both on the wall and may post a picture to show how they look. both jerseys are a mens large. the one thing I didn't account for was sometimes hockey jerseys have a patch on the shoulder. It actually makes it hard for it to sit flat and took a while to make look nice. also the lock is beyond cheap and is more or less to keep your young kids from opening the frame and touching the jerseyother than that it is a great do it yourself framing kit that looks great on a wallI also recommend buying a 8 x 10 picture of the player and putting it I the frame with the jersey, it makes it look niceredit: I attached a picture, you can see the blue jersey looks a little wrinkled. the patches on the shoulder don't allow the jersey to hang evenly.

I was looking at several different display cases for the football jersey I wanted to hang, thinking about spending a few bucks less and getting a cheaper one, but I am so glad I bought this one! It's a bit larger than the others, and the jersey fits perfectly. It comes with a "hanger" and a plastic board to give 2 hanging options. It was very well packaged, and it looks great!!! Sometimes you worry about buying things you're not familiar with on Amazon, but you need not worry about this. This case will make your jersey look 100% better.
