OOLY, Ninja Black Wood Pencils, 12-Count (128-78)

These have been my go-to pencils for the last five years! They are sturdy, the lead is strong, easy to sharpen and does not break when sharpened to a point, the eraser does not smear the page when used, the round shape of the pencil feels great in hand, and the all black of everything on this pencil, including the wood around the lead, makes this the best looking pencil I have ever seen.

The pencils sharpen well. I would definitely buy these again. I love the lyric on the back of the box. The eraser is also a good quality eraser, it doesn't smear like some other brands. I give these pencils 10 out of 10 !

This set is pretty sleek, my toddler loves these for school. They are a little hard to sharpen, but little ninja feels extra motivated to do his homework.

I found these pencils and my son loved them. They are cute , unique and functional!

These are awesome. Perfect party favors for my son's Ninjago party. They're cool pencils because the wood is actually black. So you sharpen them and they have the black outside, black inside, and black graphite. Pretty cool looking and all the kids were impressed.

Konichiwa! These are by far the stealthiest, well-trained ninja pencils I have encountered. Nothing gets passed them. Math, art, english...history? Let these elite shinobi hit that with a kamehameha and BAM!!! ANNIHILATED! They swoop in under the cover of darkness and shank those evildoers with their kunai knives and hit em with the SHORYUKEN!!!! No more need to fear that your plain no. 2 pencils won't perform to your standards. Give these wooden descendants of Jet Li, Bruce Lee and all the other accomplished martial artists of with similar last names a try. You won't be Shanghaied by other office supplies again.

I bought these more for the novelty to give as a gift, but happy to say these are actually very solid/good pencils.The barrel is round and the tips sharpen easily to a long point. They write smooth even in cursive (that's my "stress" test for a decent writing pencil). The hardness feels similar to a HB- a solid dark line, but not as soft or dark as higher B grades. The black wood is very cool. Both kids and adults who appreciate a good pencil should enjoy these.

Oh, these are soooo cool. They're of Taiwanese manufacture despite the name, but these days that's as good as Japanese made. Very nicely finished, ultracool look, feels good to hold. With these available I may start writing my novels in longhand, just like George Stark. Yikes!

I actually bought these pencils a long time ago at Indigo, and they were a lot more expensive. Great pencils that show up very dark and have very strong leads.

These are lovely to look at and to write with. I buy them again and again, year after year.
