I have a modern stainless steel refrigerator with the French doors up top and the freezer drawer down below. So I have to pull out the drawer to access the ice maker and bin with ice. I started to see how unsanitary it is compared to older type of fridges with the ice maker in the upper door, where you push your glass in the door and ice drops into your glass. Washing hands every time before picking up ice with my hands every time I got ice got questionable after a few months. I thought I really need to get an ice scooper to break up the large chunks of tray ice as well as to scoop it into my desired drinking glass. I got this ice scooper and keep it in the ice bin 24/7 for use at any moment. If you are an ice cube lover, this is a very nice and strong ice scooper. Dishwasher safe.

Good quality product would order again if I needed one.

We got these cute little scoops to replace the ice tongs for our ice buckets. These scoops are WAY better to get ice that those tongs that you have to pick one piece of ice at a time to put in your glass. We use one of the scoops for ice and the other one for general kitchen use for scooping dry goods such as flour and sugar. This is one of those utensils that I should have bought years ago. Very handy!

Perfect size for a home fridge.

These worked great for I needed. I got these because the ice dispenser in our fridge broke so I needed something that fit in ice drawer. They aren't very big but they're big enough for home use. Using these to fill a large container would probably be frustrating because of there size but they are great for getting ice for a drink. The price was great and they are sturdy enough for me to use them to break apart the ice when it gets frozen together. I did notice the handle being uncomfortable while breaking up the ice, I was holding it tighter than I normally would though, but it wasn't a problem when i was just scooping ice. When the scoops first arrived they had black marks(from tools maybe) on inside where the handle connects but those came off in the dishwasher. All in all I'm very happy with these.

These are OK and do serve the purpose (to scoop dog food), but they are very uncomfortable to hold — almost sharp at the edges. I don’t really like them, but they work.

My dog chewed up my plastic scoop but the new one will cease that problem.

I would not spend money on this. The handle is very flimsy and just broke within 8 months of buying.
