The gate is also lightweight, so it’s easy to move around when needed. Great gate, holds well and looks good.
This gate may not be the quickest to set into place or take down but it's the best holding position. The locking bar is made of steel so it doesn't bend. It also looks nice. I highly recommend this gate.

Easy To Install!!!
I've been really pleased with the Regalo Easy Fit Plastic Adjustable Extra Wide Baby Gate. Installation was a breeze – no drilling required, which saved me a lot of time and effort. It was up and ready to use in no time at all.I'm using this gate as a dog gate, and it serves its purpose well. The adjustable feature makes it versatile enough to fit different spaces around the house. While the locking mechanism isn't the best for rigorous baby-proofing needs, it works perfectly fine for keeping my dog secure.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase. It's sturdy, easy to install, and does exactly what I need it to do. If you're looking for a hassle-free solution for pet containment or light childproofing, I would definitely recommend giving this gate a try!

Perfect!
I actually bought this same gate years ago from target and never saw those little black brackets to screw into the wall! Luckily, this gate from Amazon came with it and makes the gate extremely secure! The brackets would’ve been great in the past ! But I’m grateful I have them now for my second child because he’s pretty strong lol. To install may seem tricky to some lol but it isn’t rocket science. Just secure the best hole choice and EXPAND the knob. Try YouTube if it seems confusing.

Doesn’t work like I wanted
This item doesn’t lock tight enough to maintain a tightness between 2 walls. I bought it because I have kittens and it prevents them from roaming throughout my whole house as I go back and forth into their room. Because they are kittens and they are not strong enough to move it, it works. But I wouldn’t trust it for grown cat or a baby.

Will Not Last
First of all the whole product description talks about how easy it is to put up and take down and how gentle it is on your walls because of the rubber grips and the truth is that if you do not use the enclosed hardware to mount it to the doorway the instructions warn you it will not be sturdy enough and could give out and cause injury to a child that may be holding onto it. So plan to screw four separate pieces to your doorway making permanent holes to repair later once you no longer need a gate, or... use the gate at your own risk. Secondly the mechanism that supposedly locks the gate will give out easily if you try to take the gate down and put it back up as needed. We have had the gate 3 months and the mechanism is shot. We only put it up and take it down once a day and the holes the pin is supposed to fit into will not hold it the pin pops out and the gate will fall right over without being touched. I tried raising the edges of the hole with pliers so this might not happen but it did nothing. As it is I've had to try to hold that piece down with one hand and screw the plastic piece to tighten with the other but even with my small hands this is near impossible because of the tiny space you're working with between the pin mechanism and the sliding part of the gate it's trying to tighten to. More often than not there is a pop noise and the whole mechanism slips out of place and the gate tries to fall if I'm not holding it. This is extremely frustrating. Now it doesn't fall as bad with the screwed in wall pieces but it's not sturdy at and will fall because the mechanism isn't doing it's job. I would say this gate worked the first month and a half I had it and then the mechanism started failing. Thirdly, if you have a doorway that isn't completely smooth, you can't use it at all. Our kitchen doorway used to have a door and there is a thin wood molding piece all inside the doorway that the old door would close against, this means our door frame has about two inches or so on either side of this one inch molding piece, so the way this gate is would never work there because of how it's width is on the two sliding pieces which do not seat across from each other in the door frame.Either way, this product description states the gate is easily removed and installed and won't damage walls and yet when you get the instructions to install it tells you if you don't screw the pieces in the hardware kit to your doorframe the gate is doomed to cause damage to your child because it isn't sturdy enough without the pieces you screw in. Which the instructions tell you to put up the gate first without the hardware, then, when you're sure it's even (I'd use a tape measure to make certain if I were you), trace the rubber grips on your doorframe, take the gate back down and screw the hardware pieces in fitting in the places you traced... I warn you it isn't even easy to trace the bottom two grips to do the install this way. Doesn't sound like such a simple install to me, now you're needing tape measures, drills and screw drivers, or you can put it up without and wait for the moment the gate falls with your baby clinging to it.This gate is beyond frustrating and I would never recommend it.
