Sorry, but what you see is what you get! If you only want the clay, I recommend buying Sculpey Premo or any other major brand, then you can buy single blocks of clay. It's more expensive, but well worth it because it's much bettr clay.

Q: Why is each piece of clay so oily around the package? There is even oil on the booklet.

It sounds like the clay you bought is a cheap brand. I would recommend a better brand, like Sculpey Premo, or any other major brand. They cost more, but it's much better clay. You can fix the oilyness by unwrapping each piece of clay and setting it on a piece of paper towel for a while. Leave it on until the clay is the consistancy you like.

Q: Can this be baked in a toaster oven?

I have used a toaster oven before, and it seems to work well. Just keep an eye on it. Using a toaster oven helps me keep my clay equipment separate from the equipment that I use for food

Yes, it's not the finest clay in the market for professionals butt definitely for beginner projects is a good one.
