Love the brushes but the handle on one of them was cracked in two places.
Like the sturdiness of the brushes and they clean up easily.

They do what they were meant to do.
Basically the personals are plastic I believe. They don't shed. They are definitely easy to clean with soap and water. I make sure to rinse them very well and then brush them out dry.

LOVE these brushes!
Have tried Mod Podging with a sponge but far prefer these short-bristled brushes, which work great for paper-on-paper collaging, especially for smaller or more delicate elements. Also much easier to clean than the longer-bristle brushes.
