Perfect for a small boat, canoe or kayak
Light weight and portable. LED so the batteries should last a long time as well.

The best choice for bow stern lights read to see why
These are very bright due to the LEDS. They take just one battery so they can sit for a long time in the unit without issues because the batterie's won't discharge into each other. And they should run for over 20 hours based on my calculations. The box is great too. Take the bubble wrap off each light, put it around your 2 c batteries and put them in the center of the box. Then put it in a water proof area of your boat. The box can sit there for up to 10 years and the lights will still work depending on how fresh your batteries are. The mount and hardware can be made to work for any boat and are "Caught out after dark get back to the dock without a ticket" Quality. The lights themselves are really good quality but fine thread so screw on the caps slowly. If they fail on me this review will do down right away.

Works great on dinghy
Not super high quality but cheap & works on our dinghy just fine.

Ok lights but mounts are a bit flimsy
Lights are required for nighttime use in the US, so I bought there for my RIB. I needed to modify the front mount to get it to work, but this was expected. The rear mount works, but takes a long time to work around the fiberglass hull and tighten on the transom. The screw on the clamp bends or flexes a bit, but so far has kept the light mounted. The post on the rear light is plastic, so not the best for rigidity, but works well enough for now. The lights are ok, bright enough. One is a little fiddly to get the battery cap on and make the connection, but turning it slightly from full tight seems to work. Overall, they get the job done, but a bit cheaply made.

Good quality for the price
Nicely packaged and easy to assemble. Arrived quickly. Lights not quite as bright as expected, but adequate.

Defective
The red and green light doesn't work out of the box. The design of the threads to the battery cap is awful, they're too narrow and it gets cross threaded. Not only that but the one light won't even turn on. Cheap pieces of junk. Really a huge bummer because now I can't take the boat out this weekend.

Boat lights
For my jon boat these are just great. Lake, river or saltwater grass flat, they are bright and easily seen. Battery life is quite long, but I do carry extra batteries just in case.
