Does this camera have to be installed in the rare of the trailer or truck？If yes，how could it get power supply and connect directly to the phone？

Camera can be installed in the rear of trailer or truck, but can also be installed anywhere you need eyes on. It has build-in battery and does not need power supply after charge. However it can also get power from trailer's running light or taillight directly with the cable included in product. Camera is connected to smartphone via itself generated hotspot - a WiFi Access Point. After successful connection, you can view the camera in the APP called "swift wifi cam", which needs to be downloaded from Google Play or APP Store.

If placed magnetically in the middle and on top of the metal rear bumper of my 40' fifth wheel, will the signal be blocked by my fifth wheel?

I cant give ypu a 100% confident answer because it depends on signal interference around you etc. However with a 32 ft trailer and a f250 it worked just fine. I also seperated the camera and phone by about 300 feet (just walking down the block) before i got any significant signal degradation. So it 'should' work.

Question regarding placement of the camera, will the system work if not complete line of sight?

If obstacle between is not metal and not far away, say, 80 feet, camera will work most of time. Camera can have extended 9 feet antenna to bypass obstacle, however it is not included in the package and need order separately from our website:swifthitch.com. (Part no. ANT02)

how does it mount to the rear window of an RV?

We have a suction cup mount (Part No.: PM01) available to purchase on our website, which can help you mount camera to the rear window of an RV. If you have a gopro style suction cup mount on hand such as ASIN: B06XT41X8D, you can use it as well since our camera base can be unscrewed and has standard 1/4 thread hole under, which can mount camera on top.
