Raid Essentials Fly, Gnat, and Mosquito Killer Aerosol Spray, Safe for Use Around Children and Pets, 10 oz

This Stuff Really WORKS!!! I had an infestation of meal moths from a sack of dry pet food. They were driving me crazy. I used this spray lightly just once and had an almost 90% reduction in moths. I used it a second time and now they are all gone -- with the exception of ONE. It is still driving me crazy and has learned I cannot spray my computer the only "Safe" place in the house it can land. It's days are numbered!!!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I read the reviews first before buying and one review really stood out! Well he was right! We have had gnats, not sure where they came from we live in a condo! We tried everything and spent a lot of money! We sprayed the raid in the tracks of the sliding glass doors and windows! I highly recommend buying this raid!

It's labeled as an "aerosol spray"... And though the sprayer itself (as in, the mechanism for getting it out of the can) is technically aerosol, THIS SPRAY IS NOT MEANT FOR THE AIR.Apparently, it's meant for treating SURFACES... I guess to kill bugs that land on them?If you read the fine print on the back of the can (after you order and receive it), it will tell you all this. It will tell you specifically not to spray this stuff in the air.Because, if you do -- if you use it the way all other mosquito sprays are used, by misting it into the air so the mosquitos breath it and die while they're flying around -- it will GREASE YOUR ENTIRE HOME.This stuff is oil. It doesn't mist into the air at all. Instead, it settles in greasy pools all over your floors, the surfaces in your home, and all of your stuff.It greased my girlfriend's laptop. I found my dog licking it off of her paws. The floors had to be mopped several times, and were still slippery for a day afterward.No. Just no. Why anyone would want this is beyond me. To purposefully grease their kitchen counters with bug poison, I guess?Don't do what I did -- don't buy this. And if you do, read the can and do what it says. And then go out and get regular mosquito spray to actually kill the mosquitos with.

Worked well.

As other reviewers have pointed out, this spray isn't meant to be aimed at flying insects. You're supposed to wait till they land. Great. Could someone please instruct the fruit flies in my kitchen to land and wait patiently for the spray to kill them?When I do find a little pest on a surface, the spray works. Seriously, though -- advertising this for small flying insects like fruit flies, gnats and mosquitoes is ridiculous.

Good buy

This worked very well. We had a horrible problem with black flies and they are all gone once we found the source we sprayed everything near it & had dead flies for a few days. It also smelled like black licorice which I prefer over chemical smell. I will order again.
