The media could not be loaded. Excellent quality. Although the shipping took longer than advertised, the packaging was effective and secure.

This has to be one of his most iconic albums. I’m 67 and I turned my son onto David Bowie. The album’s I bought were for his vinyl collection. By the way, at 39, my son is now a Bowie fan. Who wouldn’t be ?? I highly recommend this album. Great and memorable songs.

Overall great pressing, sound is good. Now I have Dsd digital file version of this, and it sounds better. This album was apparently taken from a 192 khz original file. To me, it sounds a bit thin, especially in the bass. At times it sounds open but not consistent. That being said, if you are not comparing to an original album or the dsd equivalent, you will be happy. For the money, you cannot ask for more.

This is a German made LP from a Half Master. It sounds like the band is in the room. .As good as it gets.

Love that they took the time to give this album updated vinyl treatment. It rocks! No surface noise at all.

Firstly my 5 stars is related to the album or 1/2 speed master more specifically. Quality is very good. However, the picture when ordering from Amazon shows a picture disc with some inserts. This is NOT the case. You will (likely) receive a standard disc with no inserts. There is a half speed master sticker on the album sleeve.

A great release of this legendary album. I'm very happy with the sound quality, stereo separation, low end, high end, etc. It's all fantastic. And the album itself is one of my all time favorites.However I have to deduct a star due to the lackluster packaging. I don't fully understand how so care was taken to make this pressing sound great, only to ship it in a cheap brittle paper sleeve. When I removed the record from its sleeve for the first time, it was totally covered in various sizes of paper chunks. I think most of this paper came from the sleeve already separating on the side (on a new never opened record). Nothing a bit of cleaning couldn't fix, but it's regrettable that this great pressing was packaged so carelessly.
