Magnets, White, Darice Hanger, 2 Pieces

I looked a long time for a strong, white, scratch-proof magnet for the wreaths I hang on the inside of my white steel entrance door. I really wanted only one, but since these magnets seemed right for the task, even though they came as a pair I ordered them anyway, planning to use only one of them. Two days ago they arrived super fast, thanks to Amazon's quick delivery options. I changed out my old corroding steel magnet with the extended hook for this good-looking coated magnet with a hook that is almost flush with the magnet. What a difference it really does make on my interior entrance door! It is much stronger than the old magnet, and the flush hook holds the wreath against the door and keeps it from wobbling when the door is opened and closed. Where it shows a bit above the wreath, the magnet itself blends into the white door surface really well. Happy with my purchase, I stored the second magnet away.Today we woke up to extremely high winds here in northern NY. Unusually powerful gusts have been blowing down tree branches and sending the deck furniture scrapping around outside. I could hear the wreath that's on the outside of the front door bumping and scrapping about, and I got out the second magnet and changed the one that was not holding for this new one. Again, the superior magnetic power combined with the flush hook design made all the difference in holding the wreath in place while keeping it stable. In fact, I may order more of these magnets because I can see that using two for some of my outside door ornaments will ensure that nothing blows off in any weather. Plus, the white plastic coating makes them impervious to wet conditions and they can't scratch the paint. I'm so happy I found these great magnets!

I purchased these to use on metal siding to hang wreaths next to the house door. I needed something that would have a very strong magnet. Had one before this purchase and it blew down in a storm and disappeared. So, was not sure these would be strong enough. When I got them, two were placed magnet sides together inside the package. I had a terrible time to get them a part, almost gave up, had to pry them a part. To me that was a good sign, powerful magnet. So I made sure I had the right spot picked out before I attached it to the siding. That being done, I tested it before hanging the wreath. I could not pull it off without sliding it to the edge of the siding, even that was hard to do. But the real test came this winter. We had a blizzard, with some really strong winds. I am happy to report that my wreath is still hanging where I placed it and the hanger had not moved at all. It also seems to be durable and I feel it was a good price too.

I love these wreath hangers. I bought one several years ago at Target. It was Christmas and it was red in color. I guess it was just a seasonal thing because I have never seen them in the store again. Nor at any other store. Glad I found this online at Amazon to replace my other one. It was old and the magnets were not sticking well together. There is 2 pieces to this. You place one on one side of the door and the other on the other side of the door. Both sides have the hook. I use this on our glass door. I love that I don't have to put up a bulky hanger on the door, just to hang a wreath. The only bad is when you have a large heavy wreath, the magnets sometimes slide apart and the wreath comes crashing down. I have trouble when it's super windy and the outside magnet comes off because the wreath is being blown hard in the wind. But I really like this type of wreath holder and am happy with it. I had trouble with my Christmas wreath last week after a wind storm, so I went out and bought a smaller, less heavy wreath and have had no problems with the magnet holder since.

This is thicker and heavier than I expected, however, it does the job and is covered by the swag I wanted to display on my front door. It is strong enough to keep it in place which is why I’m keeping it. It works!

Year's ago I purchased a couple of these from a clearance rack in a store. We recently had a glass door replaced with a steel door, and i was so happy to find these at a good price. They are strong (have never had an issue with anything that I hung on it), inconspicuous, well-made. I have had one on a door for over 10 years, and no problems (other than where it was placed on the door did not have paint fade like the rest of the door 😊). Was intrigued with the idea of placing them on either side of a glass pane, but have not tried it.

I bought a decorative tile with a design and some hooks for keys. It has 2 hangers on the back. i didn't want to put holes in the wall, so I decided to hang this on the side of the fridge for easy access. The item came with two hangers, and while they stick out past the art (decorative tile) they are holding it on to the fridge. The art piece with my keys on it weighs about 3 pounds, so the two magnets are fine for sturdiness/strength.

Maybe I received a bad set, but the magnets don’t hold me wreath on my glass door. They stay up for a second and fall. I paid a lot of money for a custom wreath to only have it fall a few minutes after hanging it which cracked the initial I had. The wreath was not even heavy. I tried them again without a wreath and the same thing happened with nothing on the hooks. The glass door is standard and not that thick. I put them on my actual door and they slide down to the bottom. Again nothing was even on them. I don’t know what is up with these.

Upset with these magnets. When I first suck them to my doors they worked great, I hung a sign for Christmas. Then I hung a wreath for Valentine’s Day that was like 1.5 pounds. The magnets didn’t hold it at all. I would not buy this if you are trying to hang anything of true weight. You’ll need a much stronger magnet. Otherwise the color works, and they look nice. They just lack true function IMO.

I purchased this to hang the wreath on the front door so I don’t have to use the over the door hanger which damages the door. The magnets on these are not as strong as I expected. My wreath did fall a few times already. I tried using both through the glass pane on my door but it is worse the the metal Itself. The only thing preventing it from naturally sliding down the door is the fact that my door has a trim in it. Also the plastic coating on the hook is already peeling off. I’m hoping it will do the job for this holiday season but am definitely looking for an alternative next year.

I just got new doors this past summer and didn't want to use the door hangers I had used in the past for my Christmas wreaths. Just put my wreaths up with these today and they are great! So happy with this purchase.

I bought a set for myself and liked them so much that I bought a set for my mom as well. Hubby hates the over the door wreath hanger - not good for your door and so on. This works so well and holds up our wreath through glass - love that feature - nice that the magnets work on either side and hold through the glass! Very happy with my purchase overall. Price was reasonable considering how useful and strong the magnet is.

Great hanger! It does not have a large hook, so I wouldn't reccommend it for hanging a wreath.Very strong magnet
