2022 WiFi Extender Wireless Signal Booster Cover to 5000sq.ft and 35 Devices, Internet Booster for Home, Repeater Range Amplifier with Ethernet Port and Access Point

I purchased the WIFI extender to improve my internet connection to our outside security cameras. Two of our cameras were getting a weak signal from our DSL internet. Our internet signal in our house is pretty good. I wanted a WIFI extender that was not real expensive that would increase our internet signal to our cameras outside. This WIFI extender did the job and I am now getting a nice signal to our outside cameras. The extender itself will usually show two lighted bars for the signal it receives from our router. Sometimes a third light will go on, but it will only last a short time and return back to the two bars. I found the setup a little challenging. I had to reset the unit several times before I could get it up and going. I originally tried to set it up using my phone. I'm not sure if it was the user or the unit, but It just would not connect to our internet. I eventually migrated to my PC and was able to get it going. The extender does get pretty warm like others have stated. I have it placed where it getting warm is not a safety issue so I'm OK with that. Overall it is a good unit for at a good price.

My signal is much better upstairs and on the porch as I hoped. My only crab is that the instructions were gobbledegook probably written by someone who speaks little English. The unit was however smarter than both of us and began working in only a few minutes. Be patient!

A different brand of Wifi booster I'd gotten on Amazon worked part of the time once I finally figured out how to set it up. So far this new one is awesome!!! I was able to get it set up without any tech support and it's been working perfectly ever since!!!!! I'm still amazed each time I am able to stream on a TV in a distant bedroom after all the months of frustration. It's wonderful that my experience matches up with the other well-deserved good reviews!!! Bravo!!!!!!

Easy to set up and so far works great - twice as expensive as some others - no idea if its worth it. Instructions have to be read thoroughly and some of the language is a bit confusing (they say use the same 'password' as you use for the network but there is no field called 'password' on the interface - it turns out the 'pre-shared key' is your network password - sure would be nice if they made that clear. Also you end up with two versions of the extender - 2G vs - 5G what's the difference? not idea. Also there are lights on the device listed as 'signal indicator' - my top light flashes sporadically - what does that mean? again, no idea....so it seems to be working but there are some areas of confusion for your average consumer.

Not technically savvy at all, you may have problems setting it up. But otherwise, it did the job since our router is on one side of the house, not picking up the televisions on the other side. Worked like magic!

I desperately need this product to work in order to extend the capability of my Wi-Fi. I’ve tried it in several outlets ensured that it is within range, but I cannot really tell if it’s making any kind of difference. I was hoping for the wow factor and it is not delivering that. Perhaps it would work for someone else but I am not seeing a lot of increase in Wi-Fi speed, range, or any of the other descriptions it features.

I purchased this product to extend my WiFi signal out to a whole house generator which sat on the other side of a stucco screened house wall, which of course, is effective in blocking an RF signal. Before installation of the extender, I had 0% WiFi signal at the generator location. After installation, the extender had boosted the signal to 40% which was plenty sufficient for the purpose. I had to try a couple of different outlets to see which location provided the stronger signal and found the ideal one after two tries. Very satisfied with the product so far.
