Generally this has done the job. I was looking for a shelf to raise the microwave off the counter but remain under the cupboards. This shelf is just about deep enough to accommodate the feet of the microwave ( it could have been deeper for my purpose) though I had to assemble upside down to ensure the shelf is at the bottom and not the top as the holes are not all the way down the struts but easily done. It was necessary to extend the shelf but not to its widest and there is no locking point even though the diagram suggests the screw positioned would do this job in fact none of the screws/bolts are long enough to stop the shelf being dismantled as you pull it out to its maximum length and that makes it unstable if you are not careful. I have found an alternative screw which is long enough but doesn't stop the sliding along the length. You have to make sure the screws are very tight to ensure the lateral stability. I have it right up against a cupboard to ensure additional stability but again if lighter load is on the shelf it may not be an issue. A mini spanner and Allen key provided so no searching for appropriate tools for assembly.Overall I am happy with the item if after a few minor adjustments and there is nothing else that would have done the job.

Bought this to use as a shelf for my microwave. There is provision for several heights within the side frames. The shelf width adjusts by sliding one part within slots in the other; tightening two screws then fixes the width.The only glitch is that the upper of two screws fixing the shelf to the frame (four in all) screws into pre-threaded holes in the frame itself. Paint has found its way into the threaded holes, making inserting the screw a very hard job. I was afraid something might break, fortunately it didn't. Perhaps a little lube might have helped there.There is no lip to the front edge to prevent the microwave (or whatever) slipping off the front. I have stuck a plastic strip of suitable thickness in place and will probably drill and insert a couple of self-tapping screws to make sure it doesn't peel off, once I am perfectly satisfied with positioning.But nice sturdy item, thank you. As a concept it looks great, and it works fine.Sadly, the item I have received, had a noticeable bend on the middle.

I would have a 6mm (first) tap on hand ease the screw holes of excess paint. After that, easy to assemble to create a sturdy nest of shelves (I bought the twin pack).Like the sliding out width to fit exactly in-between two cupboards.

Very strong and solid compared to the plastic versions of this type of product we have tried previously. Easy to assemble although one screw hole was not done properly which caused a slight problem. Where the two parts overlap it does not sag and is wide enough to accommodate three coffee mugs back to front. Easy to clean and overall a very good purchase.

Was a little wary as to whether this would work, so just bought one at first. I was so impressed that I bought a further 3! Excellent at allowing me to separate cupboard items where only 1 shelf per cupboard is available. One frame was slightly bent on arrival, but gentle pressure soon had the bolt in place. I’m 74 (and female) but found it very easy to assemble and put in place. Would totally recommend.

This was exactly what I needed! I desperately wanted to organize my kitchen cupboard. I had gotting very tired of having to reorganize everything to reach the thing I wanted. This shelf is very adjustable, allowing me to use my storage way more effectively.
