DIXON Industrial REACH- Deep Hole Permanent Marker, Red, 1-Count (14202)

I had to mark dozens of holes through a 1/2” guide onto concrete. Obviously a Sharpie wouldn’t fit, so I bought this tool to do the job. I breezed right through the job, though it is a felt tip, so I’m not sure it’s going to last a long time, but i works Definitely buy again.

I use long nose markers very frequently for tracing patterns onto materials for cutting. While the Dixon marker is much better than the FastCap marker it is not as good as the PICA markers.

Love this pen, I am always marking holes in dark areas than a pen Or pencil mark can’t be seen. This has a long thin point that will fit in a small hole & give you a good mark on lighter materials. Visibility is still good on darker paints & wallpaper but you need to look a bit closer. I liked it so much I bought them for the install crew!

Really helped me line things up perfectly, just don’t know how long it will last since I don’t know when I’ll use it again.

I work as a handyman and bought this to mark things that my pencils wouldn't. It seemed nice out of the packaging but before I even had a chance to use it was dried up. I kept it in its holder the whole time so I don't know how you are suppose to stop this from happening.**EDIT**After my initial review I had placed this marker in a cup in the laundry room. Out of curiosity I took it down and was going to see if I could get it to work and somehow it is now working perfectly.

I don't know why someone didn't introduce me to this marking tool years ago. Every DIYer should have one or two of these in their shop/home. It easily marks location points that a pencil can't reach.

So great for marking deep holes. Red is so much easier to see under light glare too. A+

I thought it was a great design for marking in my home shop. The ink started leaking almost immediately and it got messy to use. Over the last 3 years since i ordered it, I have used it 4-5 times for a total of about 15ft of marking. It ran out today. Like the design but not worth it unless you are going to use it all up right away

Not good for construction get a pica instead

This simple but well thought out design is so useful!!! I bought it for a very large project I had to work on and I was beyond impressed with its ability to mark holes I needed to drill out that I would not normally have been able to do. 5 stars all the way.

The felt tip on this marker broke off the first time I used it to transfer a screw hole to a cardboard template. After sticking it back together with some glue, it worked fine. I would have preferred a little more reinforcement (maybe a metal sleeve) on the tip, but it did get the job done in the end.
