White tea is considered rare and one of the most delicate tea varieties because it features young or minimally processed leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant. . . .White tea's leaves can only be hand-picked during early spring and must be handled delicately.

Despite its name, brewed white tea is pale yellow. White tea's name is derived from the fine silvery-white hairs on the unopened buds, which give the plant a whitish appearance.

How long should you steep your White Tea? Pour the hot water over the loose-leaf tea, (cover if in a pot) and steep for 2-3 minutes.

**JAGS' White Tea is best kept in a cool, dry place in our airtight container. You may even keep it in the refrigerator. If you do choose to keep it in the fridge, don't change the location to the closet or out on the counter after that. It may lose its potency if you vary its storage temperature repeatedly.
