I've looked at all the 1,2,3 star reviews which complain about this light's size and acknowledge this is a small fixture. But, there's no denying the amount of light it puts out is much more than I ever, ever expected it to be and darned site more than the original from 1956. Plus, it's LED which means I won't have to replace the bulb for 20 years.So, if you think you'd like this as your outside lantern do check the size first on Amazon's page and see if this unit will work for you.

Nice lights and can't beat the price. My only complaint is with the mounting brackets which are a bit too wide to allow for an easy slip over by the fixture base. See picture. They need to be about 1/8" shorter on the ends. You can wrestle with them, grind the ends off a bit, or use existing brackets like I did if they fit or are adjustable.

I bought these with a discount through Amazon Giveaways, but the regular price was excellent to begin with. We own a condo so the HOA must approve any light fixtures we install. These met their exact specifications! The fixtures were extremely easy to install. They fit the decor guidelines & look very nice. We would recommend them to anyone because of ease of installation & attractiveness. A great value for the cost!

These are perfect replacements for my old jelly jar fixtures. I was optimistic when purchasing these, assuming I could install them myself (even though having never touched an electrical wire in my life, but Dad's 30 years of experience made it look like a cake walk, so how hard could it be... am I right?) after watch many (3) YouTube tutorials. Needless to say, I'm pretty sure I nailed it... mostly because the house hasnt burned down yet. I flip the switch and the light turns on. Perfecto!

Easy install, light is bright and looks modern. Good value for the money. It is odd not seeing a light bulb hanging down but I guess I'll get used to it. Will see how they hold up to the elements.

This light seems well made and easily goes with our exterior color and style. It replaces a more traditional motion security light which was extraordinarily bright for our needs.Motion sensing lights always seem to have reliability issues. With the advent of LED lights, I decided the best route to go was to install this standard fixture and use modern LED light bulbs with built-in dusk to dawn sensors. I bought 8 watt bulbs, but I would probably recommend an even lower wattage bulb.I'm very happy with this purchase. Given the electronics of the light are very basic, it should last a long time.My only recommendation would be to include a water proof gasket in the package.And if you find that the pair of screws pointing outwards protrude too far, you simply need to take a set of pliers and rotate the screws clockwise to get them more recessed.

I received this light fixture, and it came well packaged. As i began to install it i found quickly that it had a baseplate with cap screws that would never mount flush to the unit. The cross frame installs to the wall easily, but the frame with the mounting threaded shafts stick through the cover too far. If you put the cap screws on, it will just hang cockeyed. I had to find 6 washers, 3 for each side to take up the space on the threaded shafts so the base would mount vertically flush.So if you get one of these, be warned!

I decided to replace my built in LED coach lights and go back to traditional put in your own bulbs. I bought some at SAM's Club and they were similar style but with built in LED's. They worked but weren't very bright. Fast forward a year later and the lights that don't burn out burned out. So I found this on Amazon and thought why not. Easy to install. Took a traditional bulb which I upgraded to a brighter LED. I am happy with these. They work just as expected. I wanted to try them out before I replace the other two lights I have on the house. For the price and ease of installation you can't go wrong with these.They are metal and have real glass interior. The black paint is pretty thick so my hopes of not having a sandstorm blasting the paint off will hold up. The other ones didn't fair to well. It was a thinner paint.
