Does exactly what I need it to do.
I purchased this item because I usually want to bring along a couple of nicer garments when I travel, but I never have enough to require an entire garment bag. It's an annoying little challenge to bring one or two dress-shirts on a trip. This has proven to be a wonderful solution to that problem.I'm a pretty general men's large, as far as shirt sizes go. I selected the "small" garment folder because I noticed that it would fit neatly into half of a standard overhead-compatible suitcase. My t-shirts fit in very easily, but the dress-shirts are more of a challenge. It works really well for my purposes but I would recommend getting a bigger folder for shirts that are long/tall, sized XL+, or if you need to bring more than a few nice garments.Folding is a lot like ironing: try to keep the creases on the natural seams of the garment and make sure the fabric is as smooth and tight as you can make it. I like to get them out and hanging as soon as I can, a light steaming usually corrects any undesirable ruffles that might occur.I can stack this garment folder on top of an Eagle Creek medium compression cube, and they only use half the main compartment of my carry-on bag. It's definitely enhanced the way I travel.

Great for the OCD Traveler
This product is not for everyone. It does require some patience to fold and stack the clothes correctly using the board, so if you're the sort of person who stuffs everything into the suitcase last minute with the dirty soles of your shoes rubbing against clean underwear, this is not for you.I used this on a recent 3-week-long trip with multiple stops. Some packing systems assume that you have only one destination and will unpack fully there. This folder allows me to remove one item at a time (I stack my clothes roughly in the order they will be used, OCD I know) and repack quickly for my next destination while keeping the clothes relatively crease-free.I'm a Size 2 or XS so the "Small" is perfect for my T-shirt and tops. If stacked properly (with each alternate shirt upside-down to distribute the bulk), I'd say this folder can comfortably hold about 8 of my T-shirts.I also have the previous generation 15" Garment Folder which this replaces and it should be noted that this is slightly smaller in dimensions. Another difference is that the new model has mesh panels on the side wings which improve their stretchiness and breathability (why is this starting to sound like a sanitary napkin commercial?). I also love the color ("Blue Sea" is a vibrant and tasteful cobalt blue) which makes it easier to spot in my huge suitcase without being obnoxiously loud.Overall, a great packing accessory for an OCD traveler.

Great for organized packing
I love these Eagle Creek Pack-it folders. I use them all the time. They make it possible to remove clothes without messing up everything else in the suitcase. They are ideal for trips where you can't unpack along the way.

Good but not perfect
This case is very helpful but isn't perfect. I use it to take dress shirts to work (I commute on the train and subway). The case is large enough to accommodate a lot of shirts (I've fit 10 without issue) however there isn't much structure to the case (it's soft touch) so it's fairly easy for the shirts to shift around a bit. The securing flaps are made to accommodate a lot of shirts so it's hard to adequately secure just a few shirts. Plus there are openings at the corners that allow pieces of the shirts to be exposed. This is a problem when I have to put the case down on the ground for any reason.I would be much happier if the case had some better structure although I understand that would reduce its utility when used to be packed in suitcases.
