The Apple Tree: Bilingual English and Mandarin Chinese Books for Kids(Dual Language Edition) (Seasons) Paperback – July 6, 2016

Great book for families with limited ability to read Chinese. Has simplified characters, pinyin, and English. Uses simple, every day language, beautiful pictures, and great for kids. My daughter is 4 years old and loves it.

This is my second book by this author. The way she performed the book and the vocabularies are so helpful and easy to absorb.

It looks like a pretty kindle book. But when I downloaded it, the Chinese characters didn't resolve. Instead I see a mix of Greek/Cyrillic characters and commas and blank space where the Chinese characters should be.I tried everything recommended. (Cycled through all the fonts. Deregistered my kindle app, uninstalled the kindle app, reinstalled the kindle app, redownloaded the book.) Nothing worked.If you don't already have Chinese characters resolving on your kindle, I'd recommend against getting this kindle book.It was an unfortunate waste of money, and (worse) time.

Great for people just learning Mandarin, with pinyin and English. The book covers the four seasons and more. I hope she writes more like this.

I got this as a baby shower gift for my American friend who has a Taiwanese husband who speaks Mandarin. They love it and think it's really cute!

I like this storybook. It's a good book that will help kids build their vocabularies in English and Mandarin. It's also easier for bilingual parents to read together with their kids.

It's ok. Purchased for a gift but the paper back looks cheap. Wish they stated if this was traditional or simplified in the description before I purchased. I'm looking for traditional.

The story is precious. But the book itself is paperback. In the hands of a toddler it won’t last long. There are other hardback bilingual books less than the price for these books. I would have rather printed it myself for $6
