So much space and utility - undermount option

Have had it installed for a little over a week now and I love how easy it makes kitchen chores. Washing a large pan or heavy crock pot is so simple now. I added a roll-out dish rack (also from Kraus) and now those large pots and pans can dry without taking up space in the sink or on the counter too.The garbage disposal is quieter now when using the solid drain cover. I only need to remove it to dump coffee grounds. Small waste still flows easily into the drain while the cover is in place. The look of the sink with the cover in place is also much improved.I've used the chopping board once, and having it directly over the drain is a convenience I didn't know I needed. I normally use my chopping board in "landscape" mode, so the orientation is off for me, but I'll get used to it.I've only bothered to wipe the sink down once, with a dry sponge. It removed the spots without using cleaner. Probably will continue that at regular weekly intervals.I upgraded from a two-bowl sink with garbage disposal, so having only the center-mounted garbage disposal with this sink freed up a ton of space underneath in the cabinet. I was able to put all of the items I had under there previously, plus the two new accessories (chopping board and drainer).Having the right tools and an occasional second pair of hands is essential if installing yourself. I had to test fit the new sink several times to ensure proper alignment with the existing cut-outs in the countertop, and to mark holes in the new sink for the faucet and air gap cover. I then had to drill the stainless steel with the appropriate-sized carbide tipped hole saw. Fortunately, the hole placement wasn't impacted much by the steel rails mounted under the sink edges. Drilling through those would have been more difficult.I'm very happy with how it all came together and with how the sink performs. It's well designed, highly functional, and looks great.

luv it

Wife loves it, as do I. this thing is huge for a 30" sink and its worth the money you pay for it. All the other brands and almost childish compared to this one, took a chance purchasing this brand for the 1st time.Well made, love the bottom grate and the additional options if comes with. Wish the drain wasn't half plastic if I had to nitpick here but extremely satisfied. Its also $100 cheaper on Amazon than if I ordered from my local Lowes.

Nothing makes a statement faster than the quality of a Kraus

This handsome stainless-steel workstation/sink makes a splash! The sleek design and deep basin, paired with the easy-release goose necked faucet speaks quality just by its presence. The features of the workstation include rollup drying rack, bamboo cutting board, stainless steel grid and strainer and drain cover. Easy to install, instructions for every step! The quality of Kraus products cant be beat!

Amazing Sink... insane quality, stellar customer support!

My wife wanted to do a kitchen upgrade... I wanted to save some money. I bought a new sink, Kraus faucet, disposal, and dishwasher. The plumbing is easy, you can do it!Amazon delievered the package and looked like they dropped it off 5 feet off the flatbed directly on the corner... completely smashed the entire box corner... the sink only the smallest corner was bend (lead me to insane quality). I managed to bent it back (with a lot of effort) using a book on top as protection a plumbers wrench (not the right tool for the job, but it worked).Called customer service as I thought I was missing a part (I wasn't), but they immediately wanted to send me a new sink... I did not want to be bothered to remove, replace, and ship back the old one. The whole time, they were nice and friendly, they did expect me to respond within 3 days, (which is completely normal), but still worked with me as I am slow to response :DInstall Tips:1. PREMADE cut-offs are inside for ensure you have a solid fit! Be sure to be accurate not "not close enough" as you need those extra millimeters. :)2. I used "silicon" for sealing underneath the sink... I wish I had applied Plumber's Puddy directly to the countertop instead, then dropped it in! Silicon was everywhere, but came off without an issue.3. Remember to "air gap" your dishwasher drainage hose by looping hose above the lowest point of the sink and back down.

Great Workstation

Wonderful workstation for looks and people that use the kitchen a lot. I cook a lot and at first, I wasn’t sure about a single sink because I have always had a double sink. It gives such a huge open area to do your needs without making a mess. I noted that it’s high maintenance, cleaning is recommended regularly, use a sponge or soft cloth. Can’t even use the green side of your scribing pad, it scratches easy. Often clean to avoid water spots or slight darkening when water dries. Other then that, it’s a quality sink, comes with a template for top or bottom mount and all accessories needed. Single sink also creates great space under the sink to store stuff. I would recommend it.

Not the best

Sink was bent and uses a weak clip method to clamp to the countertop.Would not recommend

Quality Sink

Really happy I chose this sink. Really nice finish, great accessories … Very happy! Just need to order the soap dispenser now.Update - I purchased the soap dispenser but haven’t installed it yet. It will be a bit of a challenge because when the sink is already installed you have to find a way to get to the small space in the cabinet behind the deep sink and plumbing to attach it. Yikes! The soap dispenser is really nice quality and the actual installation is simple but I recommend you buy it with the sink and install it at the same time.

Sink is crooked!

Seems well made and good quality, but it's not straight, one corner is crooked and my contractor was unable to install it. Will be returning it.

HAD SUCH HIGH HOPES FOR KRAUS! 2 years on and couldn't be more disapointed.

I purchased this sink collection via amazon and was very careful to ensure that ny tapwear and additional bowls and chopping boards etc would be also aligned with the measurements of this sink. It was installed as an overmount system, by professional builders. It looked great from day one, especially with the industrial sink and additional collander and chopping board bits. However, as this was the first experience using a high quality gourmet sink, I wanted to be careful that I followed in structions about cleaning and maintaining this sink and its accessories, as I wanted to keep this sink for many years ahead.1) Cleaning: As it said in the manual, to clean the sink, use a small amount of dish liquid and wipe down with a soft cloth after each use. What it didn't say to do is how to manage heavy loads and the necessary scratcges that conme along when washing dishes after a whole family have eaten, or what to do when all the baking trays and oven trays are (seemingly) hardier than the sink is. My sink is now left with lots and lots of scratches and bumps. I am not sure a) how to get these out; and b) if this us jyust the quaity of the product I bought.2) The qualityh of the sink itself. My plumber, after putting in the sink, said he was a little concerned that hot water condensation from the sink was quickly forming on the underside of the sink, pretty much whenever the sink was used to contain any water or food containers tht were hot. THe bottom of the sink, and surrounds, had not been insulated, and then a problem of damp and mold started in under the cabinets frtom my sink. I asked my contractor if I should put in extra insulation to stop the leaking hot water that had now gotten all in to the pipes and floors anduer the sink; but dudn;t get much help. I tried to call Kraus at the time to advice but I was ujnable to reach anyone with expert advice;. In any event, you cna see how the sink's lack of insulation has caused all this flooding/damage to the base of my kitchen floors. The final thing I want to say is that I splurged on the idea of this sink: that could help central all the ADHD'ers in the house and give us joy and focus as we had planned our stations wo well....however as things got broken (refer to the salad bowl holder), and our base sink seemed to frighten us with its gentle constitusion ("don't scracth me, dude!" to bleeding hot waster below in to the cabinets to all those pockets of rust, I have had a really sad expereince with this product. And i know I might sound flippant, but MY RENO IN 2021 WAS DONE IN REAL HEART.... I was very sick and wanted a place of my own to gather and show family and friends what could be done if you do your research, and inviting in some fantastic designers.I still think KRAUS are amazing at what they do... but maybe this product in particular was a dud. I would absolutely love to talk to someone from the KRAUS team about what can be done to raise this once-place of fun and feeding... to now one of disappointment and tiredness. Please feel free to send me a message as I would like to chat furhter.

Great Sink and accessories

We are very happy with the look and function of this sink. The large size is great for soaking roasting pans, etc. I like the stainless steel bottom grid that keeps pots and dishes up from the bottom of the sink and helps prevent scratching. Filling a pot while it sits up on the grid and not in a wet sink means it doesn't drip on the way to the burner.I didn't think I would use the dish drying rack much but I now have it out and use it every day - draining freshly washed fruits and vegetables, rinsing small items - have even used it as a sort of colander spraying right over it. It can be used to hold a hot pan direct from stovetop too.Our contractor suggested undermounting and I'm glad we went with that - clean look.Things to think about:This is picky but you have to lift out the bottom grid regularly to really clean the bottom of the sink so you need the space to set it aside. It's not heavy but can seem awkward. With the drain at one end of the sink a spray hose that has a good extension helps to swish out the bottom and corners.
