Used to hang some garden shade three of the hooks held well but one broke, and the one I put in after that broke too, just snapped clean through.So unless you're using this for something alot lighter than a tarp I wouldn't go there.

Bought these for hanging festoon lights around the decking. The area is prone to high winds so wanted something that would keep the lights in place. Been up for only a week but have held the lights in place in high winds so very pleased

Simple idea but brilliant, for example tension lines for gazebos or anything you want to keep secured the spring tab ensured rope or whatever is attached to hook isn’t released unless you want to. Wish I found these years ago. Very good at self tapping in to wood. Came with raw plugs but I used existing holes with 6mm plugs already in and perfect hold. Really recommend these! Hope they survive outdoor but easily replaced.
