Cool! I didn't even know I needed it
This changes the game a bit! With the bottom hat more secured you can achieve a more stable bottom hat sound. Cool! I didn't even know I needed it! This, like any other accessory, changes the feel a bit. Not a problem adjusting. The big advantage came with 13" 2002 Sound Edge hats. They have a very wide vocabulary and precision is a must for consistent sound. This helps to achieve a bit more more consistency.Glad I bought. Would buy again.

Rubber Hi Hat Seat
This hi hat seat is usually found on some of the better hi hat stands. It holds the bottom cymbal in place far better than the plain felt washers and also allows for it to be "loose" enough to provide great response. It's a small piece of gear that costs very little but it makes a world of difference. I have one on every single one of my hi hat stands and I keep an extra in my stick bag.Try one and you'll be a believer!

Well worth the investment.
Standard felts were killing all sustain on my Zildjian L80s. By their nature, they choke easily, but this HH seat lets then breathe. Noticeable on standard hats too.

It does exactly what it's supposed to do
This is exactly what it says it is. I use it under my hi-hat to give me more control than just on a flat felt.
