Great specimens!
As soon as they arrived, I placed in a glass of water, and then placed a bag over the glass for a little humidity, as my house in the winter can be very dry. I made sure that the bag did not rest on any portion of the stems. I placed in a window that gets direct sunlight. I would refresh the water every few days by draining out 2/3 of the water and adding fresh water back. Once a day i would remove bag and mist the stems and the inside of the bag to help create more humidity, again taking care that no portion of the bag touched the stems once replaced. After only a few days (maybe 10 days) it's ready to pot. Being winter, im going to finish these inside until spring, at which time they will be moved outdoors, as this is an outside tree and will need the season cycles to stay healthy. All three syems they sent (1 thick, 2 thin) are very healthy and produced roots and leaves very soon.Im very excited to see how these turn out in a few years time. Ill try to come back and pay updates.

Bad product
Please be advised what they actually send you are 5in. twigs in length that you would have to place in a cup of water to allow the roots to grow for 4 weeks, then you would have to place them in your own pot and soil to allow the bonsai to start the growth process. So, be aware of what they’re actually sending you. I received the product under questionable quality, but I was adamant that my green thumb abilities would overcome this initial set back, but to no avail, I was not successful. After I requested a refund and provided this picture of my bonsai they got clever and gave me some cheap excuse as to why I couldn’t qualify. Apparently, the claim was they gave me two additional bonsai twigs as a “gift” and that the third one which I presumed to be a 3in. in diameter petrified stump was the actual product. I presumed this was rubber banded with the two smaller twigs to protect them from bending or breaking, because the product came in a thin bubble wrapped envelope. I couldn’t provide a picture of that particular piece, because I had discarded it earlier. The instructions for the product explained how to care for two twigs, so naturally, I assumed I was caring for the correct pieces and not for the 3rd in. Diameter stump. Not only did they deny me a refund, they were “generous” enough to offer me a 10% discount for my next purchase. What a joke.

Not bad
It's an actual little tree. To be honest I was expecting a fake plastic tree. It came in pretty good looking, alive and it came with all the stuff you need. It grew pretty fast too it wasn't big it was about the size it is in the picture. Overall pretty good and worth it especially if you want a cute plant a little on a cheaper side.

Is this tree cutting a live plant with bare root or no roots?
I was very disappointed with the "tree" I received in the package. The product detail states that this is a "Live Dwarf Australian Weeping Willow Bonsai Tree" and the description states: This is a cutting and Ships Bare Root, No Soil or Pot Included, All Natural High Quality Potting Soil like Fox Farms Ocean Forest or CZ Grain Bonsai Soil is recommended. My take is that the description states bare root. There was no root(s) on the cuttings. We had to place the cuttings in rooting hormones. Based on the Bare-root Definition & Meaning by Merriam-Webster:The meaning of BARE-ROOT is having roots cleared of soil in preparation for transplanting. Based on that definition, I see no root(s) so the cuttings cannot be bare-root. This is very misleading but with rooting hormone, the cuttings will grow. This is a longer process because it is a cutting and not bare root. At first, I gave it 2 stars but after doing my process, the cutting began growing roots and stems with leaves. I have changed my rating to 4 stars.

They doing okay!
Received the cutting and put them in water and the did ok. Transfer them to soil and the were starting to die. Put them back in water and they're doing okay again. Not dead. a few limbs and very few leaves.

Misleading description
This is not a potted tree. Like the picture & description leads you to believe. It is live, I guess, but it is only a cutting. Which will require me to now root it & BUY a bonsai pot & tools & soil & learn how to create a bonsai tree - over a very long time!!! The posted description is misleading!!! Not what I wanted!!!
